The Radiant Aeon
A cheery Dark type? No.. no.. that not possible. There is no way in HELL that there could possibly be such a monstrosity. No way that a dark type can be cheery e gg sableye Edited September 1, 2013 by Lunar081
The Radiant Aeon
Another thing, why did nintendo have to put the demo for X and Y at launch day in Houston? I'm not complaining mind you, I can just ask to be driven there (given if my dad has the time). But STILL
Godot
There is a difference between cheery and menacing... jus saiyin And if Hax goes Mega... it would make no sense whatsoever for it to become a fairy... If it gains any additional typing, it would be fighting steel or dark... Hax is nowhere near girly or cutesy enough to be a fairy.. Haxorus is not only demonic as all holy hell, he is probably the manliest dragon pokemon period. He aslo has blood dripping from his tusks constantly... that just screams slapping fairy type on it... And if they slap some wings on it... it won't be angel or bird wings... it would look plain silly, like Dunsparse. If they do give it wings it would essentially turn into a 2 legged Salamance or an edgier Dragonite... Original pokemon concept... do not steal... also it would look more demonic if it had wings imo... I rather have it keep it's original look and maybe add some rougher looking armor... I want this thing to look like something that would smash tokyo or kidnap a princess... not something out of My Little Pony... As for stat increases... I agree with the speed thing, it would also do wonders if they slapped firepunch on it... please gamefreak (And who ok'd that comment I ignored it for a reason) Ps. Yes Haxorus, aka badassorus, is way cooler thand Dudriggon and Garchomp, jus saiyin

NeoDarklight
But, he's not menacing, he's adorable! Not sure if serious, or sarcastic. Because that actually IS kind of cute, in a way. The Radiant Aeon
But, he's not menacing, he's adorable! See, people do think the little dude just wants to give you hug! LGND Red
See, people do think the little dude just wants to give you hug! Also, just asking, who else is going to try a demo of X and Y I prefer to just get it as soon as possible and play at home, for a week to me its not worth playing the demo. Godot
Trust me... Mael and I noticed the resemblence long long ago... Sableye has been a fan favorite of mine since gen 3 first announced him... he kinda like my pikachu. also dood... I love Stitch! He is like one of my favorite cartoon characters ever! And when I first met mael and he saw some of my Stitch and Sableye fandom... he pointed out the resemblence almost immidiatly and I became an even bigger fan of this little troll Also Cheery means your happy to be alive... sableye's smile is more along the lines of "I wonder what you would look like if you were missing a limb"

Godot
I love Mawhile! I like to think that convos at gamefreak go like this Gamefreak: Let's buff sableye and mawhile Fans: Sableye is usable now! Yay! Gamefreak: what about Mawhile it has sheer force now! Fans: who? Gamefreak: fuck it let's turn it super saiyin and give it huge power... on top of that let's turn it into the most dragon hating poke ever and give it fairy typing! They've turned quite a few Pokemon that should be menacing into cute little creatures. The entire Dragonite line is a good example. Logic never applies here, so seeing a cheerful Dark type is not out of the equation and probably never will be. Besides, look at this cute bastard! Joker
Well, okay. it's not on that sandile level but it's close enough
Maelstrom
liepard and stitch are mischievious. And sandile at least has his color scheme to suggest dark. Plus, it's a predatory creature. chespin most emphatically does NOT look like a dark type hopeful to me. chespin has that derp-happy look on its face. If anything, I think it'll come out looking and acting a lot like Donphan.
Requieon
Also Cheery means your happy to be alive... sableye's smile is more along the lines of "I wonder what you would look like if you were missing a limb" Sableye *IS* happy to be alive... ..in that afterlife sorta way... Who says you can't be a cheerful psychopath? Also, you want cheery dark types? Cheerful Zorua says your argument is invalid.
Godot
Liepard and zorua are not cheery, and sandile is just... there, he is isn't a very cheery poke... Zorua is a decietful lil mutt who makes you think it is something else.... And purrlion is more of a "I don't care who you are, I just know that I am better than you... NOW MAKE ME A SAMMICH!" Chespin is more along of the lines of "hi wanna be friends? Let's share some memborable times together"
Joker
That's not a good reason why he can't be a Dark type. There are plenty of examples in Pokemon that show that thinking with looks does not work. Dragons are thought to be scary looking, brutal killing creatures. However, the entire Dragonite line is anything but that. You also have Altaria which looks like it would rather kill you with love. Then you have Axew, another cute Dragon type. Most of the Dragon type, save a few, don't even fit the description of scary, brutal killers. You would also think Ghost types to be scary, but there are a few that aren't such as Drifloon, Misdreavus, and Shedinja. Judging what type a Pokemon will turn into based on how it looks is kinda stupid imo. I mean, who honestly thought Torchic would turn into a Fire/Fighting? It's a tiny chicken, there's no way it could get that typing later on, right? There's also other things to consider like how Pokemon can drastically change in appearance and personality when they evolve. Just look at Feebas and Magikarp. One went from the ugliest Pokemon to the most beautiful, and the other went from the most pathetic to one of the most seriously badass Pokemon we know of today. Chespin for Dark type. He's ALWAYS smiling. Zorua isn't deceitful, he's playful, he uses his abilities to pull little pranks or get away from danger, he spends most of his time just having fun! How can you call THAT a mutt? I wont try to defend Purrloin tho.....yes, she is a theif who uses a cutesy act to lure you in....but it doesn't mean she isn't cheerful when the plot succeeds! See, all of these pokemon start off cute and cheery, which is the whole point, who knows how chespin is gonna end up, he may go from adorable and friendly joker....to, well, THE Joker. Drifloon drags unsuspecting children to hell, Shedinja steals your soul if you peer into the hole in its back, and Misdreavus feeds on fear. How the hell is that not scary? Brockze
He means they don't look scary. If we were judging pokemon based on their entries, then the chandelure line would jump straight to the top. Stealing someone's soul with a flame is just cold...
