Ask Xatu
I recently have received a question involving one's importance, independence, and personal success in life. Ironically I can relate this to an experience of my own, back to when I was a young bird. So I have a small tale to tell, hoping you can relate to it. I left my mother's nest ready to explore the world and broaden my horizons. Unfortunately, I was not ready to experience the world. All the burdens of one's life was too heavy for my little feathers and I failed to take proper flight. So I returned home to better prepare myself for my adventure. Yes, it did take some time, and before I knew that I was ready. Going home after failing to succeed at my first attempt to become a fully grown bird was a difficult choice to make. But being with my family and having their support helped me properly evolve in to the Xatu you see right now. Sure I was scolded when I first arrived home, but those words coming from my family made me think twice about the choices I have made in my life and choices I will soon make. When I knew that the time was right, I took flight from my nest again. Even now, I am not stress or worry free about the ordeals of life. However, I am stronger and more aware of what kind of obstacles life has to offer. Even after leaving my nest, I still do struggle from time to time. And one thing that keeps me going, is that I know that I have family and friends to watch my back and catch me when I fall. I hope this helps~
