NickCrash
Hey, triple post! I wonder what that means!! Nhankiet claimed earlier that he got a gift. Now a gift killed someone. I'm starting to think of Keyboard Warriors, the Niggerian Prince, here. @sailboat confirm this. It's safe to say he got a gun or a vest. Btw, I still want to know whether something happened to you guys. It can even be that you know you were visited. That's better than nothing. Roswell
I only vaguely remember Owner's Market, so for clarification: Are only the people who made successful bids required to uphold them, or is everyone required to match their bids? Also, since Nick pointed it out, has there been a mafia role in the past games that could make an attack in addition to the mafia kill? I feel fairly confident that there was, but I can't think of where it would have been.
Jace Stormkirk
for the death of the one i voted for the court. i shall miss thee purps
Jace Stormkirk
also on that note it looks like that everyone has forgotten that there is a kings court and they get a night kill also and if my hunch is right then they are killing off origional members of the court so that means that only the next on they kill should be mafia
Roswell
...right, King's Court gets a kill too, meaning mafia having a 2nd killer would have likely caused 3 deaths rather than 2. Not impossible, mind you, but less likely. Also, doesn't the Court disband if it gets to 2 or less members, if it's like in WitchHunt? I might be reading your post incorrectly, Jace, but I'm not sure why you particularly think the court will kill a mafia member next.
Alphagar
Ok...for some weird reason I can't quote people...odd. Anyways, @Paul25... You find it weird that I am sad we lost townies? That doesn't make any sense at all...in fact...that you use that against me makes me suspicious of you. Also, leads as in...did anyone get info last night? Any visits? You know....leads to go on? That said...I didn't have anything happen last night to my knowledge.
NickCrash
@Roswell Alistair writes that you die if you don't fill in the criteria. You already know you've won the bid, and now all you have to do is post enough times. I think Jace means that the current court is killing the people that were in the court in WitchHunt. It would make me sad if it was the King's Court that killed me. yeah I'm not popular enough I would also like to point out that the people in KC are not necessarily town. Only the King is. Jace Stormkirk
because they vote in new members if i recall correctly
L'Belle
Is there not an option for the King's court to like not kill at all? Like i'm not sure what they are going on when they kill people.
Jace Stormkirk
yes the kings court does have the option to not kill someone
Roswell
Still doesn't explain why Jace thought the Court would most likely hit a mafia member next, but I guess that makes sense, Nick. And, if it's anything like WitchHunt, Court doesn't vote in new members, only holding the ones that originally formed it, so that's not it either, Jace. Alistair
@Roswell @NickCrash (and anyone concerned) I asked Dive; only people who won their respective bets have to post as many times as they bid. People who lost aren't bound by any rule other than the usual 3 posts minimum.
Jace Stormkirk
@Roswell because since it is guaranteed that mafia got someone on the court the king choose someone and last person was popular vote that means that kill if they decide to kill off the two that got voted on then you will get at least one mafia at least that is what i would do
Alaris
That would make a lot of sense. All the mafia should vote one of their peers, which would get infiltrated in the court. However, since iirc the court members don't know each others' roles, it's quite risky for the court to kill one of their peers at random... Alaris
3 hours ago, NickCrash said: On another note, I was attacked last night. This should be important, because these days people kill me before D3 and that's not ok. I wanna play too. It's also important because it shows that either the mafia faction can kill multiple times per night (ie finite number of special abilities), or there's a 3rd party that can. Was anyone watching my home? Hmm I thought you were the granny (cause Venus suspected you, and it was probable that him, as the detective, would try to inquire on your alignment that night) but apparently you're not, if you can be visited and attacked. It might have been the Court's doing, as someone else said.

NickCrash
@Alaris You know, I thought they'd get that impression as well, and felt somewhat safe that I wouldn't be targeted. Given how gruesome the descriptions of the previous deaths were, I believe it was either the KC or a 3rd party. I have been a respectable citizen, paid my taxes, and lost sleep trying to help town every night. I request some protection from now on.
Roswell
That makes sense, I guess, although we'll only know that's what happened if we see the Court disintegrate tomorrow. Also, good to know re. the bids. It's looking like I'd be fine for it either way, but it's nice to not have the pressure in case I forget XD
LykosHand
What Jace said, it's true. Mafia can agree to vote one of their allies, but it could also be that the King chose a mafia guy, who knows. Only those who are part of the King's court know what happens and if they are trusting each other, i can only hope that in that group there are only townies. Also Alaris has right, it's bit risky to kill one of King's court without have suspicious or proof.

NickCrash
Yeah, @Alistair that's great to know. Candy
If mafia are smaht peepos, they'll vote in a mafia member, no doubt. But I wonder what makes Jace think that the king is killing off his own court? If the king is unlucky he or she'll kill off townies and remain with the only mafia

Paul25
@Alphagar Evaluate the bright end, we did discard a mafia member, so you shouldn't feel too bad. It's alright If you suspect me. Idm
LykosHand
@NickCrash No i'm not there. It seems that this people didn't trust me, perhaps for what happened when the King's Court was added in a mafia game.
