Pokémon Neo-Catharsis OOC [Interest Check]

Around a century later after Event #7 (Avalon's Presence) of the original Catharsis story, the world has drastically changed after what had happened. Back then, there was a time where Avalon was missing and the region was suffering from chaos. However, later on, a new government has been established in Catharsis to bring everything together. Now, Catharsis face a historic breakthrough of evolving technology and alchemy. Everything about Catharsis is advanced now... however, the business corporations, are overruling Catharsis with competition and money. Strict procedures developed underway and the society is heavily controlled by a mysterious hand of the shadows. 

 

Catharsis is now under heavy control, rather than chaos. Everyone is living in fear of life, rather than fear of death. In response to this, the mons of Catharsis are trying their best to form together a movement, to revolt against the government and corporations. Everyone is building themselves around the powers of alchemy, legendaries and refinery mega-evolution, for what purpose? To create an Excalibur Revolution, the breakthrough of a civil war happening right at the heart of Catharsis.

Personality: Mainly quite quirky. Also modest, dainty, charming, delicate, sweet. Also has a side of her that is energetic and vivid.

Ability: Blood Love - Ayumu is able to transform her move techniques with her own special alchemic blood.

Story: Ayumu was originally created by a secret and intelligent genetic scientist that went by the name of Yushiro, the Alter Lucario. Yushiro created her for the reason of wanting to create the most perfect Alter Pokémon, composed of genetic materials that link with the powers of Xerneas and Yveltal. Ayumu had the power of Yveltal and Xerneas embedded into herself, which grants her the ability to cheat life and death. Yushiro would spend some time with her talking about his history with the orphanage, how he wanted to take care of them but they were shamed from him because of Avalon.

 

When Ayumu became part of the community of Misty Eclipse, she studied in the libraries and knowledge networks about the arts of Evolved Hermetic. She studied alchemy, enchanting, theology, and many area of occult arts. That wasn't her favorite subject to her however. She had an adornment towards the beautiful pleasures of life, and that was the idea of loving something so much that one would kill it. It was her philosophy. She was known as the 'Scarlet Angel' by her peers in colleges and secret communities, known for her special blood that have a purity that access the breakthrough research of alchemy. However, alchemy tends to bore her as it was an easy subject yet so unimportant. She only did it because Yushiro set up a task for her to find the truth behind establishing innate powers in the occult network. But it was clear what she truly wanted. Ayumu wanted love.

 

She eventually became an alchemic professor in the occult network, teaching others about the secrets of special powers and magic of the occult arts. And she was also a trader, who traded secrets with other occult networks. However, some of the people who revered her knowledge and expertise were inspired. Many occult communities were uprising to the point where they used Ayumu's expertise to control the hidden occult worlds of Catharsis. The higher ups of occult branches, 333, could not deal with the occult organizations with their power. So Ayumu acted and went under a secret identity of the 'God Slayer'; she joined Strike Freedom which was led by Marth, and killed something very precious to them: their skies. She used her move, Blood Red Skies, to paint the skies in their hidden occult worlds a vivid red. She wanted to teach them that her love in hatred is far superior and much stronger than any power they wield. So each time the occultists tried to draw out their powers from the heavens, their eyes will cry... tears of blood. That is why Ayumu had the secret identity of being the God Slayer who prays for blood.

 

Years later on between the major conflict between Rebirth of Providence and Fallen Fae, Ayumu became in love with the idea that Catharsis was changing a lot after Avalon came back to Catharsis and then retired. Catharsis became more advanced, sophisticated, yet still retain that archaic feel. Catharsis was having occult alchemy as a way of creating special element pendants to make life a whole lot easier. The new government, situated in allowing mons to make their own business and wealth. Economy was coming back. But however, these changes were so rapid that it was rather self-defeating. Because... Pokemon came into much power, and decided to use their power to control Catharsis. Ayumu saw this, so she decided to do whatever she wanted: she remade her own 'Fallen Fae' organization!

Fallen Fae is back! And this time, they're going to control all of Catharsis! So Ayumu can see a future where she can paint the skies blood red!
 

Details:

* Ayumu is mainly Quirky Nature, she has a vivid and lively personality. She can be charming and dainty whenever she has a pleasure she wants to fulfill, whether it's insane or drastic. She's very poetic with how she feels about her words, but her actions are devoted to be beautiful rather than ugly. She can't stand ugly decisions and behavior, especially coming from her. She wants to do decisions where she can inspire other people with love and hatred.

* Ayumu loves inspiring others, that's why often she sometimes loves counseling or talking to friends in privacy, guiding them with her unique perspective and flow of thought. She doesn't think like the average mon, rather she wants to think with refinery. She can't stand an existence without the inspiration of beauty and love for other mons. 

* She is one of the leaders of Strike Freedom; the founder of Strike Freedom is Marth the Honchkrow. Unlike Marth who manipulates out of acute foresight, Ayumu makes dangerous decisions out of her heart. She's the one who decided to drastically change the skies or doing actions that inspire the living daylight out of them. She doesn't operate through fear; she operates through love.

* Ayumu created Fallen Fae for one reason, and that is to protect Avalon's son. She doesn't know who is Avalon's son, besides knowing it personally from Yushiro. She wants to help Yushiro by recovering the whereabouts of Avalon's son.

Concepts:

1. Alter Pokemon - Sort of like Delta Pokemon in Insurgence. Pokemon with different typings and themes.

2. Holy Type - The special known typing for only some Alters that can have.

3 Unlocked Potential Moves - Moves that can't be normally learn by the Pokemon, but known through special means.

4. Legendary/Mythical Powers - Innate powers that comes from the source of legendary or mythical Pokemon.

5. Alchemic Pendants - Alchemic tools that have a unique function.

Okay, the reason why I made this topic is because I've recovered from an event in my life. The original Pokemon Catharsis isn't going to continue for now because most of the roleplayers there are busy with real life now. But I'm creating this topic for the sake of finding new members who are willingly to roleplay in the future of Catharsis, which takes place around 100 years after Event #7 of Neo-Catharsis. But I'll continue to update this topic frequently to add more and more ideas to Neo-Catharsis, as it's a lot richer than the previous Catharsis.

 

It's magically futuristic with a lot of arcane stuff in it, and the fact that we're all planning to become businessmons who are part of a corporation (Fallen Fae) to seize control and take advantage of other corporations and rule Catharsis! Yeah, it would be definitely fun to hear if anyone's interested. Ayumu is my main character, who is ironically the main antagonist in the original Catharsis. I'll try to simplify this roleplaying topic so people can understand what it's about. But for now, please post here if you're interested or have questions!

Personality: Compassionate, Kind, Cool, hot-blooded (as a means to cope the loss of his family.), Cares for others and his friends.

Story Bio: Kazuya lost his family four years ago due to an illness that affected his whole family including himself. His family could only afford the treatment for one person and they used the money to save their son Kazuya. Their passing influenced Kazuya to become a compassionate person due to not wanting to see Pokémon to suffer the same fate as his family and himself to protect weak and the innocence that fuel Kazuya's humility sense of justice.

 

Kazuya is seen as a kind and cool person that is seen as a role model for young mons to look up to since he has a stance against those that bully Pokémon and take advantage of the naivetés of children. It was then after their passing is when things have gotten worse for him.

 

Kazuya has a long history with ghost Pokémon. Ever since he became a Decidueye, he develop a strong hatred for Ghost Pokémon (however his hatred is mostly towards the Pokémon that haunt him in his sleep (Most dominantly a gang of Dusknoirs. Does not hate children however) Dusknoirs have tortured Kazuya to the point that he has been mentally abused repeatedly while making him go through false hallucinations.

 

When he sleeps, he hears the voices of the spirits going to his head whispering and saying something to him. Kazuya wishes that there is a way to be free from the voices and the torment he goes through every night.

 

Because of this there is no life in his eyes, it never changes even when he feels happy or sad. The only thing that he mostly feels now is the deep resentment towards the Ghost Pokémon and the voices that haunt him till this day.

 

 

Details about Kazuya

 

- Kazuya likes to play with his leaf whistle (It’s a blade of glass) when he needs to calm himself down or to relax his nerves.

 

- Kazuya always brings a first-aid kit with him in a pouch wherever he goes when he needs to treat injuries of Pokémon that get hurt (scratches or bruises)

 

- Because of Kazuya’s hatred towards Ghost Pokémon kind. He looks at them in contempt, but is very wary of them.
