Looking at reborn malamar it has quite the reputation for a really big niche.

Topsy Turvy: Swiches all stat boosts on target, Creates Inverse Field (Lasts 3 turns, 5 turns when holding an Amplified Rock)
Inverse Field:
The type chart is inverted (SE -> NVE, NVE -> SE, NE -> SE)
Nature Power -> Trick Room
Camouflage -> Normal Type
Secret Power -> May Confuse
Activates Magical Seed: Boosts all stats but the user needs to recharge

What does this mean?

This means that with correct reading, Malamar can ignore both of the SE bug and Fairy type attacks by inverting the types
This gives it a new form of defense 

The type chart being inverted gives fighting type an ungodly coverage
(Durining Inverse FIeld: SE Agaisnt Fairy, Bug, Flying, Poison, Psychic, Ghost)

And Malamar's main form of attack is...? Yes! Superpower! Its a fighting type!
With on demand type inverse, in theory, with only Superpower it get a coverage of 11 types

Nature Power is turned into Trick Room.

The trait of moves calling other moves is that it will always ignore priorities
Even negative priorities.
Yes. We have Trick Room without the negative priorities.
Sadly, Malamar doesnt get Nature Power, so this will have to happen in a double battle.

Magical Seed will boost all stats

Fun fact: The seed's stat changes are not affected by Contrary! Hooray!
