I'm sad, the entire episode I was kinda half-paying attention cause I wanted them to get back to the story but when Mo reacted to Cain perhaps being gay I perked up, it felt so honest and it really made me happy. Then I had to go into the comment section to find people arguing over if Cain is pansexual or bisexual with people claiming that nonbinary identities aren't real so welp no more yt comment section for me. I am looking forward to the next episode though, I just hope Twit and Jay can be allowed free mons so they can enjoy the next part as much as Nexus, Nappy and Mo seem to.

That person is lucky they didn't say that sorta shit on Jamie's (MudkipMama) Twitch streams, a lot of her audience are LGBT plus Jamie doesn't take that sorta shit off anyone. I could go off on a rant about how NB people should be respected but that's not the point of this whole thread. Plus this isn't the first time that someone has been an ass in the comments section, there was someone who went Fern mode about Corey's suicide a while ago.

I pulled this up from a youtube comment from the thread Chiko mentioned (I'm guessing this comment was made by Chiko herself), not the absolute definition but is a good way of explaining the difference:

 

Bisexuality and Pansexuality are very similar in a lot of regards, and it sort of comes down to what a person is comfortable with, personally I like the definition that, like you said, "Pans don't have a pref" whereas with bisexuality I can say "Oh I prefer girls over boys and/or I like x in boys, z in nonbinary people but y in girls." but it comes down to who uses the word and how they like to define it, however, don't go saying bisexual people can't be attracted to people outside of the gender norm

Yeah yeah that's my own comment thank u!!!

Also, if I may add, ofc there are bi people who are only attracted to men/women, but that's not the only version of bi. Bisexuality and Homosexuality were originally the terms bigots used to make us into predetors, and we've gone a long way trying to redefine them to mean more than just who we have sex with, to be more of a gender identity, how we interact with those around us outside the straight norm, many claim "bi means 2 so only men/women" but tbh bigots likely didnt even consider other gender identities back in the day so bi is what we were labelled.

Can we just get an encounter episode again already there's some event ones that remain not counting the ones nappy got from weather that I know the others still didn't get because I don't want them to have less than a full team.. . why jay only trained up two pokemon when he had 5 in the box after aya astounds me

As far as technicalities go, p sure Ame said that Cain chooses to identify as pansexual.

(Though indeed, the difference between bi and pan is merely one's personal preference for labels. It really is that simple. A lot of times, attempts to draw some sort of border between the two seem to stem from a need to "justify" the existence of two terms. It's unfortunate, since those attempts tend to end up accidentally creating negative implications towards one side.)

 

I'll be real, if I never have to hear the same recycled reactions to female characters again, I won't shed a tear. It got old pretty fast even without taking their ages into the equation.

 

I'm happy they enjoyed the Wasteland so much. It's definitely one of the coolest settings in the game to me, especially with how much exploring can be done, and seeing them appreciate the locations and lore bits is great.

With how excited they always seem to get when they think they're getting out of the city, I feel they'll appreciate Tanzan, Chrysolia and Aventurine once they get there. Though what I really want to find out is what they'll think of Iolia Valley, another one of those locations that I think are just all-around neat.

Yea wonder how it'll work out when Mo has to fight Sirius next episode. or maybe they'll reload saves to get him back on the same path. I kinda hope not though, but it would be neat if it was 3/2 split instead of 4/1.

They were going to select "No" if it weren't for Nexus. I wish they had because I wanted to see their reaction to Sigmund getting Hyper Beamed. Also, the split where Laura gets kidnapped also gives them more backstory into Lin

 

edit: meant Saphira gets kidnapped not Laura

Actually, when Mo got beaten, he actually selected no and then saved. So he is going to be doing the Sirius (HA! Get it? Cus it sounds like serious?) battle but hopefully they'll show it. Plus, now he's gonna have different dialogue when everyone gets to that him.

I think it was 3/2 in favour of yes (Mo and Jay wanted No?). I generally pick fighting sigmund, so I hope Mo stays on the no path so I can see what happens there. would be awesome if there was at least 2 on each choice, and then they could split again at the house and show all 4 options. so much dialogue to read though

The backstory with Lin is what you get when you team up with Laura, not when she gets kidnapped^^ You fight Sirius at Yureyu and Sigmund downstairs at the mansion to get this split.

Laura will then tell you about Orphanage!Lin after she and you get teleported into the Tanzan Depths.

Hmm I thought Nappy was going to go with "No." Oh well. At least there's Mo. Maybe this will teach them to wait before selecting options for when they get to WTC.

Nexus deff was a yes, Mo and Twit was a no and I think Nappy and Jay were cool with either. Mo is set in the Sirius fight now that he saved after saying no to the battle with the Doctor.
