Pokemon Reborn Pentaop is Here

Julia is certainly crazy about blowing shit up, so I can see where they're getting it from? But they also don't know the deep well of crazy people in the Reborn Region like we do, and are only paying half attention to the dialogue at any given time, except maybe for Jay. Plus Julia seems to get more sensible later on, when the writing refines a little bit.

You're mixing up a bit of Charlotte with Julia Abyss.

I would say "cheerleader with a bombastic personality," heh.

Closest mania there is for explosions but wholeheartedly agree with ya about your description of her.

Did you guys see the asshole in the comments of the vid who implied Twit cheated by mocking the crash thing? I set them straight about how Twit wouldn't have benefitted from it as he boxed the losses from both times he did the battle when he only had to do the first. Plus mentioning that Reborn is a big game and is still in development. There's one thing where we all take the mick out of Twit for calling the game easy but it's another when he gets accused of stuff when he's being legit.

I'll put it in here so you don't need to search through the comments:

as Nappy says, there are always "factions" in his comment Section. the Twit is Cheating faction is, apparently, now surfacing as well. Even if he could have kept some of the mons (considering he had to redo the fight he could be able to keep the ones who died the first time for at least that fight)

No one in their right mind would accuse Twit of cheating, especially considering he boxed mon deaths from both fights

I would suggest that they look at our comments instead lol. We may be critical, but at least were constructive...sometimes xd

They get what they deserve for not training their mons. Srsly who the fuck rolls like that in a Locke? Hell I am not even nuzlocking and I make sure all my team is properly trained

It takes guts to nuzlocke Pokemon Reborn. It takes insanity to do it blind XD

have you ever seen nexus play Nuzlockes? He only trains the ones he sees as "Worthy". usually, that means it's final evo being OU. And considering they haven't really been able to grind offscreen due to them having had the same recording session for the past episodes it's not too big of a surprise they're not grided up. and, as they said themselves, having an episode full of all five of them just grinding would not be entertaining to watch

Honestly? That's what I was thinking. Most of their teams were seriously underlevelled, I'm not one bit surprised about the massacre here.

Tbh when I watch someone do a Nuzlocke run I expect some of the content to be grinding, cuz y'know. Nuzlocke.

They could always just speed up that part of the vid and only slow it for noteworthy stuff (like mons dying); so that you see there was a grinding session but it doesn't take up too much time of the video.

That, or release two vids at the same time, I guess, letting people know one is a grinding session and can be skipped if you're just there for the action.

Going into this with such underlevelled teams was ridiculously reckless and it seems considerably less disappointing to me to watch 'em grind a bit, than to have them all white out earlygame and having the entire op end.

Agreed. Nappy and several other Poketubers have done rapid grinding montages at the beginning of videos, so not sure why they're not doing it now. That they're so underlevelled at the stage they're at means if they don't do some serious grinding between now and next episode, where Nappy says they're going to the gym, then they're all going to get swept...

Thing is, they usually grind either before the gym or before the gym leader. They probably didn't expect to have to grind so early. An easy mistake to make when playing Reborn.

@ZEL you might not mind a grinding episode as it's part of nuzlocking, but I doubt that a majority of fans will agree there. I, for one, don't mind them either, but I can not say they are really as entertaining as regular episodes. this is why you usually see a Grinding Montage, because it makes it less tedious to watch. And as for getting one in in the middle, that could end up really putting huge dents in their schedules for the rest of the day, which is probably universally accepted as a bad thing. I get what you're saying, but I wouldn't blame them for doing what they did.

I mean, in the end it comes down to what fans would be more disappointed with: A couple grinding montages or an early end of the entire project. I daresay it'd be the latter.
I'm not saying everything should be at the level cap, but I really don't see the whole "no grinding because it'll annoy viewers" thing working out for them in the big picture.

Pretty sure next episode is either going to start with a grinding montage, or just post-grinding

Most likely pre-grinding seeing that they are about to face the gym next.

also, let's keep in mind that they're still pretty much in the prologue of Reborn. they're getting their bearings on the game now and will learn from it

well, if this is the end of the bulk recordings,  they'd better read the comments because as far as exploration goes, almost all of them are hopeless.  Especially Mo LOL

Also, you know they mentioned they only count it as a loss if all five of them white out. Well, if they get that far I'm thinking Solaris will provide...

Unless of course  a rule's introduced allowing them to specifically bypass him. But if so then there's still El...

There is a rule known as the BS clause

Should there be a fight where losing doesn't white you out, and it's usually against a massively over powered opponent, then it is not considered losing.

So Solarius and El's Dittarceus fall under this.

It doesn't count as losing if you lose to those two.

But if you somehow manage to beat it any mons lost are still dead

I wonder if Gargantuan Steelix falls under this as well

Tbh I personally wouldn't count Steelix for this. It's nowhere near as overpowered as Garchomp or Arceus. It's a more difficult fight if you weren't expecting it, but perfectly doable.
Doesn't losing to Steelix white you out though? I never actually lost against it, so I legit dunno

Oh yeah, it does! It teleports you to that faulty healing machine underground.

Yea I'm pretty sure the "BS" clause only comes into effect when losing still progresses the story, because that signifies that you weren't necessarily supposed to win, so the likes of steelix and abra are fair game. and from memory you have to beat Dittoceus too, at least if you side with randomus. I could be remembering wrong though

You are correct about the Dittoceus
