Guest Ruin
This is a howto Teambuilding reference for Pokémon Reborn. It is sponsored by yours truly. I am currently revising 5 other entries. If you would like to add to the list, PM me, or talk to me on the V2 server (Leader Ruin). The goal here is to aid in the progress throughout the game. I agree that one should not mindlessly follow this guide and that they should use whatever Pokémon that he or she is comfortable with and favors. This guide should be used for in game builds (not unlike Smogon U using competitive builds for metagame optimization) and filler in your team. Following this guide to a Tee would make this Pokémon Reborn brokenly easy.Entries will be sorted later. I have 5 other entries I am revising at the moment. Yes, the format needs help... I know. By submitting an entry to me, please know that I may or may not alter, revise, add to, or take away from your submission. Reborn Region StrategyDex Entry #XXTopic coverage: Zubat/Golbat/CrobatAcrobatics [Level 33] -- 55 base (110 base without item) : 100 accuracy. STAB = 165:100 resisted only by electric, rock, and steel leaving a very small gap that can be closed by using confusion ray and bite for the flinch/self damage while generating a reliable constant from Bite.Total chance of damage estimated at 9/20 turns. These make a Crobat self sufficient unless facing electric, rock, or psychic; however with base defences being both at 80, it is possible to train a Crobat to take hits via HP/Def/SDef EVs or run a flinch-confuse eviolite golbat with wing attack as a latter to Acrobat for an extra 5 damage instead pulling a decent defensive at 1.5•(70,75) [D,SD].Crobat/Golbat learn the heavier moves after evolving zubat at level 22; up until this point zubat is very unreliable unless carried by another pokémon.Crobat/golbat receives a 8.5/10 rating determined by factors of obtainability, coverage of offensive and defensive abilities, and ease of training in a limited environment.Addendums: Bite is learned at level 12 and Confusion Ray (CRay) is learned at 19. I recommend running two of them for now due to the iffy badge level caps in reborn, for it is very easy to break and turn a great pokémon into an undesirable 50/50 lottery. Teach them Roost or Super Fang (Zubat) tutors are ever released, a possible 4th move would be them. 30 EV berries and a level are used to evolve crobat. If you do not have access to the 4th level of the Dept. Store, then go to the 1500 Salon and buy 20 groomings for Golbat and level it. In the event you have completed the Salon side quest, buy 16 groomings from the Glameow salon.Data relevance: Episode 7 post beta.~Ruin Edited April 9, 2013 by Ruin
Virulas
Where do you get zubat from?
Shenzou
You can find zubat under the opal bridge if I got the name correct but you'll find it around level 2-4.
