This time around we're making things simple. STABMONS!!! What is STABMONS? Simply put, it's where a Pokemon can use a move it doesn't normally learn/get as long as it shares the Pokemon's type. An example of this would be a Celesteela using Roost, or Garchomp with Dragon Dance. Rules: To keep things simple and as fun as possible for everyone we're using standard STABMONS bans. More on that below. In addition, standard Smogon battle clauses are in effect. Another thing I wish to clarify is the Pokemon you use must share the type with the move in its current evolution. For instance, you can't give Tyranitar the move Shore Up because it isn't a Ground type. This applies to Pokemon with other formes with different typing, as well as Mega Pokemon that gain a typing. So your Rotom-W can't use Flamethrower, and your Mega Sceptile can't use Draco Meteor. Bans: MOVES: Chatter, Water Spout, Eruption, Shift Gear, Tail Glow, Fell Stinger, Spectral Thief, Geomancy, Accupressure, Belly Drum, Extremespeed, Lovely Kiss, Shell Smash, Spore, Thousand Arrows, Omniboosting Z-Moves POKEMON: Blacephalon, Kartana, Komala, Kyurem-B, Porygon-Z, Sivally, Tapu Koko, Tapu Lele, ITEMS: Aerodactylite, King's Rock, Razor Fang ABILITIES: Battle Bond Note: Pokemon that naturally get these moves are allowed to use them. So don't worry you can use Extremespeed on your Linoone for example. As usual, if you have an questions direct them to a committee member or ask them here in green. MATCH UPS: I. Time for scores: Eclipse: 1-2 Won 3-1 final match has yet to be played against Zion Light Gazers: 2-1 Lost 2-3 to Sun Valkyries Zodiac: 0-3 Lost 2-3 to Polaris Sun Valkyries: 3-0 Won 3-2 over Light Gazers Zion: 2-1 Lost 1-3 to Eclipse final match has yet to be played Polaris: 1-2 Won 3-2 over Zodiac The week 4 challenge and match ups should be announced sometime Saturday. So stay tuned for that. And leaders, I ask that you try and discuss your rosters for week 4 if you see this before the week 4 thread is posted.
