Distracted by Fallon, the soldier doesn't see her coming, and the darkness of nightfall conceals Idriss' approach. Thankfully, his end his merciful; he doesn't even have a moment to feel fear before the axe's edge cleaves downward with the momentum of Idriss' weight, crushing through armor and killing him instantly. With some difficulty, Johanna pulls her weapon from the fallen corpse, letting out a breath. She can't help but look a little pleased with herself; when Fallon had known her, she'd still been working on a pulling off a maneuver like that.

Kris happily skips after Naomi and Dulcie undoing a length of ribbon she had on her wrist. Revealing that it had a small hook on the end of it. She lined the hook up with one of her knifes  and smiled at the archer before  saying "Catch" as she tossed the knife at the archer along with the hooked ribbon. The ribbon and knife separated in the flight to the archer the knife going for the main mass of the archer and the hooked landing on a very noticeable (to Kris anyway) bag of gold on the archers belt...Kris never understood why everyone always as their Jingly stuff out in the open like that but she did care it made getting it a lot easier. She pulled back on the ribbon once it landed on the bag hopefully pulling the bag back to Kris (its like fishing but for money and not fish.)

The archer turned as he heard Kris telling them to "Catch" only to see a knife flying at them. Without any time to really react the archer moved their bow in an attempt to block the knife. Unfortunately, that caused the knife to veer off from its path and plant itself in the archer's eyes instead of the collar or chest as it would normally have done.

Kris looked back at the archer as they fell down clutching their eye "That's not how you catch a knife." Kris said without much care as she hid the money bag somewhere on her person.

Fallon couldn't help but smile a little when Idriss enveloped him with his wings. He had seen Johanna try something like it before in training matches, but it usually involved her being thrown from Idriss' back (much to his amusement). "Thanks." he said with a nod of appreciation, though she probably couldn't see it. Anything more could wait, though, as there was a man with a bow not very stealthily making his way towards the group. He had the same look as the rest of them, and didn't seem very happy that his friends just got impaled. "You know, you guys really aren't very good at this. If your purpose was to kill us all, why isn't your boss out here fighting?" he asked, stepping out from the trees and letting loose a blast of dark magic at him. He didn't really expect an answer, but it was strange to him that they wouldn't send their best if they were prepared for an attack like this.
