Rhian's thoughts on dragons were rather rudely interrupted by a frigid blast of magic blasting through the protection her armor offered. She cursed, loudly.

"Come out and face me instead of, blasting me with a damned siege tome, you coward!" She didn't have much room to talk, being an archer, but it made her feel a little better to insult someone. Plus it helped her focus, something that was difficult given she could barely stand right now. She would keep going, though, at least as long as there were more enemies in front of her to kill.

Ceridwen groaned quietly as she slowly moved off of her dragon -- her face got a concerned nuzzle from Ynddi, but that didn't seem to do much for her mood. Her armor was quite heavy, and while this normally wasn't much of a problem, since some of her flesh was currently reddened and burnt in lightning patterns, with the Dragon Knight still seriously wounded, the shifting of her armor as she dismounted was quite painful. She'd have moved forwards first, but having seen Rhian eat a bolt of ice out of nowhere... Ceridwen suspected that moving forward would turn out very poorly for her.

Kris ruffled through her clothes until she found her batch of Vulnerary. She got ready to take it herself until she looked over to Kerr laying on the ground next to her. Sighing she leaned down and poured it down the spearman's mouth.

 

"Hey, no sleeping on the job. I thought you silly spearmen are supposed to be good against people on horses."  she said poking the spearman a bit to wake him up. 

 

Kris uses a Vul on Kerr.

As the swordsman struck him Argos fell to his knee. He tried to pull himself back up, stabbing his blade on one of the steps on the stairs before it slipped on he slammed his chin onto the ground a couple steps lower.  "Argh, Dammit! I can't even protect myself, let alone the people beside me!" He began fuming as he lie helplessly on the staircase,  "At this rate, will I ever prove that I'm strong to even myself..." Soon as his vision started getting blurry he felt a sort of soothing light and he could feel strength come back to him. He looked up to find Verden lowing his hand for him.  "Great, I'm having someone clean up after me again... I'm so stupid!" He accepted the man's hand and brought himself back up.

"T-thanks for the help, and sorry for the trouble! It won't happen again!" The boy spoke before running ahead before taking a swig once more of his vulnerary. Though once he finished he remembered that there was a mage slugging ice magic from a faraway distance. He gripped the wooden sword with both hands and readied himself, maybe if he was quick enough he could jump out of the way of the blast before it struck,  "ALRIGHT YOU COWARD! YOU THINK YOU'RE SO STRONG HIDING AWAY LAUNCHING YOUR MAGIC FROM YOUR LITTLE CORNER!? JUST TRY TO HIT ME! JUST DON'T GET TOO COMFORTABLE KUZ WE'RE COMING AFTER YOUR HIDING ASS!" The boy yelled down the hallway, hoping to draw the mages attention or at least piss him off... or both... both is good too.

"Well maybe if you stop blasting us with magic like that we can get over there and you can have more fun in your hunt" Kris paused as she pulled out another Vulnerary. "Not that you really want to hunt us anyway. There is someone you much rather hunt. At least according to your cuties anyway." she finished just before she downed the medicine.

 

Kris moves to V14 and uses a Vul.

Dulcibella doesn't take notice of the two former cavaliers she passes over except by giving them an offering of spittle as she does. She gently goads Spirit down the wide passageway towards the swordsman standing at the end of it and gives them a friendly wave.

Then she shoots them with an arrow.

 

Dulcie moves to [AC, 14], shoots the Myrmidon, and then cantos to [Z, 14].

Ceridwen let out a breath -- she had spent long enough now hanging back and letting herself be scared, now it was time to get back into things. Getting hit by one spell didn't change what her relative strengths were, and the things she should be doing... and avoiding the enemy certainly wasn't one of those things. Applying some medicine to herself to at least get back to a more stable condition, Ceridwen began to advance once more.

The brief respite from the fighting finally gave Fallon a chance to look at what he picked up earlier. Recognizing what it was from when he was on his own, he passed it to Kris as he walked by. "You can probably use this better than me." he said and thought for a moment, looking at the door up ahead. What was it she said she was doing before? "Maybe you can even liberate some 'cuties' with it."

Verden moves to U13 and heals Kerr. He glances around at everyone else, then sighs quietly. A small part of him seems slightly ashamed of still being unharmed, as though the enemies aren't even considering him to be of notice... Still, he's aware that that's fortunate for him overall.
