Since there seems to be an array of topics on individual questions everywhere, I've created some general topics to ask them in, just for neatness.

In this topic, you can ask about any problems you're having regarding in-game quests and pokémon locations, along with anything else of the sort. Have at it, you phoenixes.

Where does corsola show up. Does it spawn as an event pokemon during the thunderstorm at a specific part of the beach, or do you just keep running on the beach and it'll show up as a random encounter?

It should spawn as an event pokemon on the beach during the rain, maybe a thunderstorm. I believe it spawns at a location on the route to the Apophyll Cave.

No, but I'm pretty sure it can learn it through breeding.

...Oh wait. Sludge Wave. That move is ridiculously distributed- almost no Poison-types can learn it.

Unfortunately, Sludge Bomb isn't in the game. There's a way to get it onto Venusaur, but it requires an obscenely long breeding chain so you're really better off without it.

Edit: Ninja'd! But my point still stands. Fuck Sludge Wave.

hrm oh dear it cant learn venomshock either, is there anying in E11 thats worth teaching venasur other than hidden power and a locaton would be handy. ty dont realy like the idea of having 3 moves of the same type on a pokemon admitidly i have the same thing on my typhloson but i can always get gyroball or somthing else via the move tutor, also typhlosion can still learn rollout via leveling

Well, you can get Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb on Venusaur. That is, if you want to breed for it.

If Gutten_tag was here he'd tell you people that you can get most of the TM moves a pokemon can learn if you're willing to breed for it.

I rather wait though.

been playing pokemon for many years and ive never set foot into breeding teritory guess ill have to wait, tho im wondering why ame put sludge wave as aya's tm and not venomshock since even very few poison types cam even learn sludge wave

Here's the chain for you, if you're curious:

Grimer/Koffing -> Shellos/Stunfisk -> Wooper -> Nidoran Male -> Bulbasaur

If you want Giga Drain too, you can bridge from Bulbasaur onto Roselia, then back to Bulbasaur.

...Well, that's what I got, anyway- there's probably others. Still not worth the strain, in my honest opinion.

Sludge Wave and Frost Breath are the two most poorly distributed TMs available right now. Barely anything gets the former, and the latter is only Ice-types. Which is lousy because a lot of Water-types could benefit from a nice Ice move.

i see thanks for the info but i'm going to agree that it's not worth the hastle since havent done thta much breading and that im not patient enough to care about breeding

It's "only" around 2 hrs of effort... Probably not that bad a time investment if it would prevent a few wipes/resets. (Although.. it could take a lot longer if the EVs are terrible though.)

to be honest its not the breeding chain thats putting me off its the time it would take to raise another bulbasaur from 1 to 60 which is the level of my vennasaur curently as i have said im havent done anything wiht breeding so i wouldnt know anything about optomal EV's, also im just grinding at the moment for the next episode and i dont think there will be any meed for it in E12 so i can wait patiently, i only wish venasaur had a ecent move spread like some other pokemon.

Added in Episode 12. Was wondering where it and the Meditite lines have been, but I guess it makes sense that they're in an area near the mountains...

In an area specifically called Tanzan Mountain West. There's a little cave off to the side, but you've gotta progress the storyline a tiny bit more to get that one rock blocking your way to turn into a Rock Smash rock. And be sure to bring Strength, too.

Yanma is still obtainable through headbutt on Azurine Island (morning) right? Been at it for about 20 minutes, no luck so far after at least 60-70 pokes seen.

Yanma is 20% chance to spawn in grass in the morning on azurine island. It cannot spawn from headbutting trees.

The highlighted part needs to be "reversed" as shown in the pokemon card... the shadow needs to come up. What do i press for that? :/

I'm pretty sure that when Ame said: "Egg moves updated to 6th Gen", she meant other things like: DDance on Tyrunt (It was missing before)

The mechanics are Gen V still though, so yes you can do it.
