In this topic, you can ask about any problems you're having regarding in-game quests and pokémon locations, along with anything else of the sort. Have at it, you phoenixes.

It should be under the Grand Stairway. One of the isolated rocks near the puddle puzzle should contain it.

Can we still get beldum by fainting while raiding tauros? Or that would only work in older episodes?

That's the only way to get Beldum. You can't imagine Ame would make a Pseudo easy to get.

Where's this hidden door in the third gym? I've turned all the columns pink, I've turned all the columns blue. Still no sign of this mysterious hidden door.

(However, in searching the forum for an answer I did stumble across a phenomenal amount of spoilers...)

Is there some sort of weird prereq? Do I have to summon the ghost of his dead wife first? Smack some sense into his bratty daughter?

It opens up when the pillars turn blue, it's in the same area as the pillars in a corner and it's quite small so it's easy to miss.

Edit: Also, there's some kind of conflicting information regarding the Team Aqua and Team Magma storylines:

My understanding thus far:

Team Aqua nets you a Carvanha, and a Ponyta, plus you can catch a Murkrow.

Team Magma scores you a Houndour and a Buizel.

Both give you a waterstone, and you can catch a Houndour in the Magma lair anyway, even without joining Team Magma.

Does this all sound right? I'm trying to figure out which gang to sign on with, and if I can join Team Aqua, and still catch a Houndour on the way...

Team Aqua gives you a Ponyta and Carvanha, plus you get access to Buizel and Houndour much later.

Team Magma gives you a Buizel and a Houndour, plus you get access to Ponyta and Carvanha much later.

You can get Murkrow by going with either.

I am looking to catch a decent dark type before absol. fighting too since hawlucha is so late. any tips?

For dark types you can get Sandile/Krokorok in Tanzan Mountain or Drapion in the Wasteland.

For fighting types you can go to the closed section of the Obsidia Slums if you have the Dull Key from the Underground Railnet and there you can find Pancham/Mankey/Makuhita and the Scraggy event, or if you are willing to spend a long time you can do the South Adventurine Woods event for Heracross.

Just go to the Obsidia Slums after getting the Dull Key, you'll find a closed door to open with the key and in the new section you will encounter wild Panchams among other things.

Nah, Blake isn't that type of guy.

You'll get it later on in a battle with Aster.
