Since there seems to be an array of topics on individual questions everywhere, I've created some general topics to ask them in, just for neatness.

In this topic, you can ask about any problems you're having regarding in-game quests and pokémon locations, along with anything else of the sort. Have at it, you phoenixes.

Is there a chance of picking up a Link Stone with the ability Pick Up?

I just found an event seviper at lvl 45 and I wasn't looking for it. ;D Hope you guys can find it too if you want.

Also, steelix is possible in the game because there is a metal coat in tarzan mountains. I think that's cool.

How to farm pokemon-held items like metal coat, gold nugget, berries poison sludge...This combo is pretty spectacular. I had to figure this out on my own so I am honored too share this with you. (just in case I am the first to post this lol.)

1. Place a pokemon with the ability Compound Eyes in the lead position in your party i.e Yanma, Nincada Venonat...

2. Have a pokemon with the Move Covet in your party Linoone.

*The compound Eyes ability give you a 50% chance of encountering a pokemon with a held item instead of 5%.

* The pokemon that uses the move Covet with steal the foes held item after the battle ends.

* Linoone has the Pick Up ability so always after battles check to make sure the pokemon is not holding anything.

Why is this important? Now you you do not have to soft reset a million times to get a Magby holding a magmarizer or an Elekid holding a electririzer!!! What if you are broke or cannot afford coins to by the trapinch in casino. Then go kill alot of trubbish and steal gold nuggets!!

I am so about to prove my theory. Try it for yourself and quote me!!

Correction: It seems that compound eyes only increases the chance of finding a pokemon with a held item only by one stage i.e 1%/5%/50%/100% (Not sure)

I think the only way is mining right now sadly /: I'm not 100% on that though, but I'm pretty sure.

Not really. I just kept soft resetting until I found a Thunderstone. I have all the fossils and stuff and I still have all the rocks from Tanzan and Bysbyxion still left untouched

Doesn't the green Gastrodon can be found or caught in Azurine Island, need it so bad to finish My Paul Team. so far I have Electivire, Aggron, Honchkrow, Ursaring, Drapion and I cant get Torterra because have a different starter. I look for it all over n under that island.It seems it doesn't want to show itself, even try rainy weather.

My conclusion: its a shiny but I really really doubt that, doesn't it know it belongs with me n his rightful family. Just thinking but it in that swampy island doing nothing with its talents, that I want to express to other trainers so bad. If not its not in Reborn.

Regarding the Metal Coat, does the item appear right after you beat the giant Steelix, or do you need to finish the entire whole plot in Tanzan to acquire it?

[EDIT] Also, is it on the floor with no ball or in a rock?

It is on the floor as a ball, I'm not sure if you have to finish the entire Tanzan plot to get it but I think you can get it after the giant steelix

btw if you want another coat the magnemites in shades gym have a 5% of holding it

Quick Question: Since Elekid has a chance of holding the Electirizer, does that mean that Magby has a chance of holding the Magmarizer?

How about Duskull holding a reaper cloth. I'm currently trying to thief a reaper cloth in Shade's Gym. No luck so far though.

I don't think Duskulls hold Reaper Cloths in game. In the handhelds they only hold spell tags and kasib berries. If you get one using the pokewalker from HGSS, then it will have a cloth, but I don't think walker exclusive items have been implemented by Ame.

No i don't think that magby can have magmarizer yet (maybe it was modified in episode 9 ?). As he's not aggressive, it seems that you can't have held wild pokemon items on him.
