Stufful instead of Snubull

How do I get Snubull in the game now? The girl that gives Snubull gave me Snufful? Snufful any good in the game? Nice evolve and early.

Both it and its evolution, are obtained as a common encounter. Have you tried searching for its nest through pokedex?

So they changed it where you could only get him from an event at the start of the game from a girl in Lower Peridot?

It's a 50/50 whether you get Snubbull or Stufful at that event.

I use a Granbull with intimidate. It has 200+ attack EVs and other EVs invested in hp and defense. It took on Solaris's Garchomp when he comes to raid the house before flying gym leader. In a 1v1 Granbull won against it. So I'm all for it. It also helps when you need a physical attacker.

A lot of events in game now have a possibility to be a number of different things (in this case, that event can be Snubbul or Stufful). For the most part, this is to add variety to each playthrough and stuff. These are just oppurtunities to get certain pokemon earlier than normal, all of the pokemon in these kind of events are available at some point in game, so you can still get Snubbul/Granbull, it will just be later, just the same way as anybody that gets Snubbul from this event can still get Stufful/Bewear, it'll just be later.
