Iridium
**PLEASE! ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES** I don't want to be responsible for someone losing all his audio data, so please back up your files before you try to change anything. I, being a coder in training freshmen with way too much time on his hands, found out that playing with the file names of the mp3 files in the audio folder can have some interesting results. You can simply just download your favorite mp3 file from the internet, rename that file to the exact same file name as the tune you want to replace (ex: Battle- ReverseGym) and if you do it right, when you start Game.exe, the program will look for that exact file name and play that tune when its needed, weather its the original file or not, as long as it shares the exact same file name as the one you replaced. And if you want to check if you did it correctly, just go to the jukebox section on your pokegear. There you will find a list of all the mp3 files in the BGM folder and you can select and play them directly from the game to see if you did things correctly *The above only applies to files placed in the BGM folder, if you want to check sounds from other folders, like the BGS folder, then you have to do whatever event triggers that sound to play (ie: winning a battle to play Victory!) Personally, I like to replace the file Victory! with something like the Final Fantasy victory theme. even though I like the idea of using GlitchxCity's Primal Dialga remix seems like a nice idea, I kind of prefer the classic rpg victory fanfare. Don't get me wrong, I love GlitchxCity and his (her, whoops :|) remixes, but it would be nice for fans to be aware of this little tip so they can have a little fun. Administrators Amethyst Posted June 26, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 26, 2013 Glitch is actually a girl by the way. xP But yeah! In fact, do you even have to rename them? I was pretty sure you could just put whatever songs you want in BGM and then loop them from the Jukebox

Iridium
Yeah, I just checked, turns out that you can just through any mp3 file into the BGM folder and play it in the jukebox.
Deleted User
I changed the town musics a while back to something a little less depressing, didn't change anything else though. My guess is whatever programming language this is, just goes "play audio file XXXXXX from folder YYYYYYY". Something along those lines.
