Abandoned egg theft

In the new update there is a Pokemon egg that appears abandoned, but is in fact not. The player defeats the parents to obtain the egg. When this happened I felt terrible for the parents. Is there any way I can make it up to them, perhaps breed another egg and return it? It would be great if you could because I'm not sure I can live with the guilt.

Do you mean the egg inthe cave near Calcenon City? if so that felt more like the parents of the egg decided you were strong enough to be entrusted with it to protect and raise it. I don't think you stole it in that sense.
