Meruem
No regrets whatsoever picking up on Parasyste. Man, that was an amazing episode. I KNOW RIGHT? besides the amazing action scenes, monologues and interaction between migi and shinichii, this part of the episode interested me a lot: could it be? as we know, parasytes have sort of independent cells, if separated from the main body (i.e. the cells that spread through shinichii's blood giving him super-human powers and also when the removing hair thing was made for safety purposes). so could this mean that migi is finally trying to take control of shinichii's brain? well, not migi himself but specifically the cells that spread onto his brain, since, as we've seen recently, migi has started to evolve and understand some human emotions/feeling, which is very noticeable by the way he talks and acts protective of shinichii. i know he says its for his own survival, but i think thats just an excuse he makes up as he tries to understand why he has come to evolve this much. anyhow, shinichii is definitely coming close to a mental breakdown, once/if he loses his humanity, and i seriously cant fucking wait to see that happen. hes so gonna go kaneki mode. also, supposedly, this is how shinichii looks to migi in these weird dreams: so kawaii OH BTW CAN I JUST SAY THAT THE LAST TOKYO GHOUL EP'S CLIFFHANGER COMPLETELY CHANGED MY FEELINGS FOR THIS SEASON? i now have a very high amount of hope that its going to get better (:
Simon
:] Good to hear that M. I at first thought it was going to be iffy this season, but Episode 2 completely changed my mind and made me come up with a theory of what will for the end of the season. And yooo, the feelings in this Death Parade episode, dang. I haven't felt this sad since I watched AoT or One Piece.
The Fush
yeah good luck with that pal do you even realize it was him who gave your stupid ass brother the information he needed in the first place so uh basically you're trying to face the guy who just kinda puppeteered your brother in the first place

The Fush
Izaya > Aoba I feel bad for Celty getting chased by all of those Bounty Hunters. I always feel bad for celty regarding a lot of things she's the most damn likeable and relatable character in the whole show despite being the least human out of them which is quite frankly really well done of whoever made this series
Support Squad Felicity Posted February 1, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted February 1, 2015 I started watching Durarara recently (Though i've slowed down at like ep 15) because the new season was airing and people loved the show. It's clear that Izaya is kinda an antagonist not to be fucked with lightly.
The Fush
to this day i giggle at anyone who sees izaya as a good person yeah, first season has a lot of points where it gets slower which season 2 isn't really falling victim to at all so far thankfully
Maelstrom
Imagine a group of superpowered sociopaths... and you have a good chunk of Parasyte's story right there. Parasyte >>>> Akame ga Kill.
Helios2
Yeah the new durarara season definetly has a better speed as the first one so far, I like it. On the other hand Cross Ange went pretty much downhill the last few eps.

That's a pretty silly comparison to make to begin with considering they have completely different genres and tones to begin with AGK's pretty much a typical shonen when you boil it down, Parasyte's anything but

Meruem
A typical shonen that tried way too hard to shock the audience. besides the constant sadistic villains and the need of having every mc killed for no actual reason, i found certain things like omgmyeyepupilsaresuddenlygoingsosmall faces and the intense dismemberment more hilarious than shocking they tried

Support Squad Felicity Posted February 2, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted February 2, 2015 sounds like a lot of things going on this season aswell tbh Seeing as most of it was winter leftovers, not much this season has caught my interest. The only things i'm trying to watch are Parasyte, Tokyo Ghoul, Death parade-ish and i'm gnna try to start Yoru no yatterman whilst continuing Durarara slowly. The anime plate is full. Meruem
damn, murano finally started getting some development on this most recent parasyte episode i know shes considered as a supporting character, but just having her fuck around, do nothing and just get saved by shinichii in the end is pretty boring imo AND IM SO GLAD THEY ADAPTED THIS PART FROM THE MANGA not exactly the same, BUT IT STILL WORKS

To the point where I got a B in media studies for discussing her as a stereotype.

Support Squad Felicity Posted February 4, 2015 Support Squad Share Posted February 4, 2015 Same here. I was surprised, normally Wednesday there isn't much to watch anime-wise. Personally, I waatch stuff on a site that i'm pretty sure is only barely legit and it gets all of this seasons anime throughout the week. Note, You can tell this is a weak season when someones no-sequel top 10 to watch literally has to include ecchi shows for the first 4 slots. Dat spring/summer hype
Simon
So fricken true Dobby. This season.. ecchi all over the place. Anyways, the episode for Tokyo Ghoul Root I enjoyed greatly, mainly due to Suzuya and Kaneki, but even Ayato. Can't wait for next week.
