I watched some episodes of SAO and I liked in the beginning but then it started to go into romance. Seriously, why does every girl Kirito meets has to fall for him?

I am considering watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Is it a good action anime?

I was interested in seeing some other characters POV and seeing guilds forming, people settling as best they can into some roles, floor clearers teaming up, people deciding to stay at a certain level to set up shop or something, people coping being stuck in the game, etc. It would have been interesting to see the formation of the players who hunt down PKers, too. I've never joined those online games like Runes of Magic (mind blank as of this moment on what to call these types of games) when it first started. It would have been interesting to see it happen. I felt SAO skip a bunch of floors too fast. At the beginning of each episode I went, "I feel like I missed something. It went from floor x to floor x."

That's why I was disappointed with SAO. Sure, I liked it somewhat, but I wished it had more seasons to focus on Alucard and not Gun online and the elf online thing. I know you can't fit 40+ floors worth of action in one season, but I wanted something.

Charlotte is the only anime I'm watching this season. Are there any other good ones? I've already tried God Eater.

god eater is pretty mediocre so far. gangsta is likely the best one airing. shimoseka and prison school are fucking hilarious.

So I started watching Rokka no Yuusha and Million Doll yesterday and caught up to them.

  • Rokka no Yuusha: I love this one. It gave me Tales of Symphonia vibes both in the original premise and the tone of the series. It's fun. The characters are likable, and the series keeps me watching and thinking, "Awww, is the episode already over." Heck, I actually decided to start reading the Light Novels for this series and no anime has done that for me since To Aru Majutsu no Index and Chrome Shelled Regios.
  • Million Doll: Another idol series but it gives its own charm in that all of the episodes are quite short (8 minutes for episode 1 and 4 for the rest) but at the same time do a wonderful job of getting me to like these characters. Rather than focusing only on the idols, it actually focuses on the fans and what role they end up playing in making idol units go large. I would say, if you can muster up a good 10 minutes, watch the first two episodes. It may surprise you.

All of the anime that debuted this season. If you need to know which, you can use this site -> https://www.livechart.me/summer-2015/tv

But yea, still watching Ore Monogatari and still hoping Suna can get a girl and stop being a third wheel. Other than that, I enjoyed it.

Also, not gonna talk about that Monster epsiode.

Thanks! That clears it up.

I am hearing good things about the Fate/Stay series. How is it and how do I start watching it? I mean people say it has many different sotrylines, light novels etc so I am getting confused.

There's a lot of different media. You can either torrent the visual novel which has 3 storylines, Fate, Ultimate Bladeworks and Heavens Feel, or you can watch the anime. The first anime of Fate/stay night covers the Fate storyline and is the worst of all the shows. Then there's the anime Fate/Zero which is a prequel to the series and finally there's the recently aired Ultimate Bladeworks anime. Heavens Feel doesn't have an anime yet.

ive been hyped for heavy object for a while now too. same writer as the index light novels and jc staff is producing it :]].

That reminds me. I've never read Heavy Object or IntellaVillage. Those are the only two of his series that have been translated and I have not read…I should get to IntellaVillage soon...

I figured rather than making an entirely new topic for something so trivial I'd just post it here.

Renzo's Top 5 Favorite Anime Characters

Number One:

Sasuke Uchiha

Now, I know Naruto is mainstream and a lot of people don't like it, and Sasuke isn't generally a liked character on these forums from what I see. However, let me explain my reasons as to why he is my favorite anime character of them all. I grew up with Naruto, and as such grew up with Sasuke in a way. I have always found Sasuke's character very relatable to myself. Not so much the whole family being murdered part, but I definitely shared his view of feeling alone and distant from others. There is not one other character I relate to more than Sasuke Uchiha, and he will always remain my favorite anime character, and honestly my favorite fictional character period.

Number Two:

Renzo Shima

Blue Exorcist is my favorite anime, and Renzo is definitely my favorite character from the serious. My favorite thing about him is how he tries to be a playboy but fails every time.

Number Three:

Eren Jaeger

Bruh is driven as hell. Idk I like his animosity towards the titans and I like where his character went/is going.

Number Four:

Soul Eater Evans

What can I say? He's cool.

Number Five:

Morgiana

SO CUUUUUUUUUTE AND STRONG! MORGIANA IS BEST WAIFU!

I just finished the Kokuyo arc of KHR and I have some questions. Firstly, how did Mukuro obtain his Six Paths skills? Also, does anyone know what happen with Mukuro's underlings and Lancia? (all I know is that Mukuro manages to escape as he possessed a boy's body in ep 26) It was a bit confusing as the plot was intense and detailed :P.
