Yes, you can get all starters in events before the Elite 4. In fact, a sidequest asks you for all 21 starter eggs (unhatched). Pretty sure the devs wouldn't have put that quest in there if there was even one starter you couldn't obtain at all. :p Expand Oh wow, I don't know how but I didn't realise there was a Torchic sidequest! Thanks for confirming :D I will definitely feel more free to choose a Pokemon other than Torchi now ,haha :) All I need to do now is actually make a decision before e19 comes out...

Expand Just pick whichever starter you like best. ^_^ Reveal hidden contents Though... The events for Chikorita, Tepig, and Squirtle can be started as early as the seventh badge. Torchic IS a good starter, to be fair. But in my experience, it needs a LOT of support from items to truly sweep teams. I find Typhlosion and Primarina to be better, especially if you'll play without using items. Their spread moves (Eruption and Liquid Voice-boosted Hyper Voice respectively) can sweep teams without any setup. ^_^

Mr.Badass
Also ,@Oscarus ,I understand the need to build a team that allow for the most flexibility as possible I episode 19. I’m looking at my options and what fields will be use at each battlefield as well as the Pokémon .Second , I’m training and breeding Pokémon to adapt to these fields and strategies while using at least some items . If I wasn’t using strategy how did it take me until my sixth attempt to complete the gauntlet in reborn . Edited March 5, 2022 by Mr.Badass Grammar mistake: An array of grammar Mistakes. Expand I doubt the Dev's would give a grunt an Ultra Beast seeing that no trainer has used one yet, and storming Labradorra is probably the first thing we do in E19, where Kenan is the first grunt we face there. Also unlikely he'll get the Arceus-wannabe for the same reasons, but I'd say that there is a better chance of this happening. His current team(which is constantly swapping 'mons with another Meteor) consists of some pretty basic Pokemon. I'll list every Pokemon he has used in spoilers, alongside those used by Meteor ace Diana(whom he swaps with) Reveal hidden contents Pokemon he has used: Noctowl, Salazzle, Manectric, Vileplume, Machamp, Golem(which Cass said in a stream that he uses in Labradorra), Purugly, Leavanny Pokemon Diana has used that haven't been mentioned yet: Darmanitan, Grumpig I wouldn't be surprised though if he picks up a new member or two.
