E18 battles in a row question [spoilers]

Heavy spoilers for E18:

Spoiler

I completed the Glass Factor puzzle (which, one I remembered I could smash walls with Rock Smash, turned into one of my favourite puzzles in the game 😄  ) and I am shocked at how many battles in a row without healing there are.

Cain and Shelly battle is okay, but if I beat the mystery dark trainer afterwards, there's ANOTHER battle and my Pokemon aren't healed?! Is this meant to be this difficult or is my team just not ideal for the situation?

Does anyone have any tips, or do I just need to buy an insane amount of revives and full restores to be able to get through this? A second problem is that fact that my Pokemon keep over levelling and stop obeying 😞

 Thanks for any suggestions 🙂

Yeah it's supposed to be this hard, don't worry.Once you beat the first mysterious trainer, in the next battle all you alive mons will be healed so i woul suggest to buy a lot revives and once you find an opportunity on a specific mon from the first trainer make sure to revive fainted mons.As for stategy, the first mon of the mysterious trainer has focus sash so maybe you can take advantage of that.I personally brute forced my way+spammed full restores to win.

Your Pokemon are healed up between fights but not if they're fainted. If they're fainted they'll stay fainted into the next battles. One thing you should ideally do is aim to avoid anything critical getting knocked out -- plan ahead. If something goes down try to revive it before the end of the battle -- you don't have to full restore it, just revive it. The HP will be restored to max once the battle ends.

One of the things I did when things started getting tight was deploy a Cofagrigus to take hits while I revived any Pokemon that went down. It's one I don't use often but it has all investments in Def/SpDef/HP and can take hits like a champion while shutting down abilities and dishing out Toxic/Night Shades. If you can set up your own terrain or make use of the one given to you it might also help.

The battles are meant to be difficult but you can get through them. Drop your levels a tiny bit before you go in.

My Bewear was able to kill everything (minus the Mismagius) when fighting the dark trainer, after I used an X Defend. During the 2nd double battle, you could set up Quiver Dance with a Volcarona while the Clefable and Ninetales are out. then just sweep the rest of the battle. That's what got me through it at least. Hope this helps!

Spoiler

Your Pokemon ARE healed after the second battle, but only if they aren't knocked out. There's a story reason for this.

The last Pokemon send out by the second trainer is an excellent place to heal up. Its an Umbreon (at least for me it was), and is defensive. It knows Toxic, Protect, Wish, and Foul Play. If you have a Pokemon immune to poison, resistant to Dark, or with super low attack you can wall that thing for eternity while you heal. I personally used a Breloom for that. For the last fight, try disabling that Clefable with sleep, since once its out of the picture you can concentrate on the weaker ice team before turning your attention on the psychic team.
