Lorisaur
Hi everyone, I've recently been curious about old epispdes, could I somewhere find their download links or at least their names/added features? I'm a pretty recent fan (started with ep17) but I'm interested in how the game has been growing through time

I'm a pretty recent fan (started with ep17) but I'm interested in how the game has been growing through time There was a member here who compiled a list in a thread, before. The links have expired, though, since roughly 1 year ago and ever since, they have not been fixed. The only working links i could find online, are: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0ByI4JllTv6t8RXc3UjRLaDl4Z1E 8, 9, 12, 13. I myself have ep15 (i came here at that time), ep16, and ep17. I think ep9 is the one with Gastly/Magikarp still in and the one that can send save file to later episodes. If you search the Data/Graphics folders, too, you can find the UNCENSORED Charlotte sprites, the old Aya sprite with her sticking her tongue out, etc. I made a fan thread about that, some time ago:

Alistair
The first version I played was e12 and I don't have it anymore, but here are some old features and trivia from past episodes off the top of my head: The current Meteor Admin music was the Gym Leader music, and the Meteor Admins had a completely different theme; generally speaking a lot of the music changed including Peridot's, the Orphanage's and Chrysolia's. Field effects didn't exist, but some leaders had more powerful teams to make up for that. When field effects were introduced there used to be an additional floor in the Beryl library with the sole purpose of describing them all, instead of the current field notes scattered everywhere. Relationship variables didn't exist. Online features didn't exist. There was no real intro sequence, only the traditional blank screen with the local prof figure (in this game's case, Ame) introducing you to the wonderful world of pokémon Reborn. The pokémon she used as part of the demonstration was Absol. Some powerful mons were available much earlier (Gyarados, Gardevoir, Gengar, Metagross and more). Many minor NPCs used to have very different dialogue (for instance many street rats in the early game had much wackier and nonsensical lines). Charlotte used to be holding a cigarette in her vs portrait and trainer sprite. Aya used to be sticking her tongue out in her vs portrait. There was a guy at the entrance of every gym instead of the communication device, that gave you tips for the leader. He was later fired and replaced by Ame, since he was actually not doing his job half of the time (for instance he wasn't there in Shade's gym because 2spooky4him). A random dude used to be teleported out of nowhere and fall to his death when first crossing Chrysolia forest. Victoria, Cain, Fern, Cal, Blake and Sigmund had pure monoteams (Fighting, Poison, Grass, Fire, Ice and Electric respectively). Among these, Cain and Fern used to ditch their monos mid-game. Generally speaking the game is visually prettier now. and many more things big or small that I forgot... overall I wouldn't say that experiencing older releases would be much more interesting than just playing the most recent version, but it can be worthwhile if you're interested in "legally" acquiring some powerhouses early, or want see Ame and co's progress firsthand. HUEnd
@Alistair Also don't forget that Chrysolia Forest was sooooooo l a g g y. The first episode I played was E9 and I did keep zip files for each of them, so let me know if you want them for some reason. Imo you shouldn't play them unless you really want to see them for yourself, as Alistair already stated that the game is way prettier and better in general than it was before also damn Shade's Chandelure was such a pain. Commander
Continuing from Alistairs The game was way buggier in early releases where crashes could be frequent and error messages would pop up. Due to above, animated sprites were removed from the download...also made it hella laggy Partners only had one Pokemon The pre Neo Reborn Peridot soundtrack is a mix of the original Many league references such as the togepi quiz and magazines were removed. Saphira's did make a return Obsidia Park forest was a thing E10.5 added Gen VI and E17 added Gen VII. During these two transitions many teams were changed The game was very very laggy which many maps were edited to help reduce. Event Pokemon only had level up moves and most were pretty low leveled Rematch trainers were added in IDK what episode (they showed up after Corey) and were once a day only Light Shards, Candy, Ice Cream, and Common Candy didn't exists in E7. Not sure when added Adrienn and Arclight were eventually implemented into the plot since the game was being made before season 3 started. Radomus gave Calm Mind since Trick Room was broken. The Obsidia Railnet puzzle was changed And some oops such as Energy Ball Typhlosion for Charlotte and Stone Edge Excadrill for Terra Dialogue used to have more ellipses than it does now Shade used to give Shadow Ball instead of Shadow Ball I think factory field had 100 percent accuracy hypnosis Cave field used to make the field collapse in one turn making diglett pure evil. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Alistair
How could I forget Obsidia Park forest, that too was laggy as all hell I remember the music that played in it was the same one that currently plays when you are about to face Radomus
