GoGo's Strange Journey Part 1: We're going to be friends

Stella would rather quickly notice a black and metallic figure with a distinctively skeletal silhouette standing in the distance, with what appeared to be a silver coated musket with green and crackling lightning surrounding it in his hands, which he seemed to be in the process of slowly but surely aiming at the barricade itself.
Bregovich slowly turned around with his musket in hand, his eyes widening in surprise slightly before he muttered, "Nnno, that's not possible, wwe destroyed the last production line years ago! How can they be ba-," his words were suddenly cut off by a loud and terrifying sound not unlike that of a screaming man coming from the skeleton's gun, as a green and jagged line tore through the air and fractured a part of the barricade, sending the drow tumbling behind it for cover as the musket carrying one shouts, "What the hell man? WE ALREADY SAID YOU COULD PASS!"

 

This is where I'd like all of you to roll initiative. Alright since apparently almost every single NPC is Sonic, imma just

As the party draws and prepares their various weapons to face the new threat/staring intently at the various barricade they will be getting over, the metallic monstrosity from earlier slides a bolt back from it's weapon of choice and fires a shot at Dagda while advancing! (17 v 18 AC), knocking Dagda back a little as a shot barely glances against the shield he was carrying. It continues marching forward as it slides a bolt back on it's weapon again, but it doesn't seem to be firing. (Moved 20 feet forward)

The crossbow wielding woman from before peeked her head out of cover, brushing her medium length blonde hair to the side a bit as she took aim, and fired at the only person who has fired so far while yelling out, "Ronnie! I don't think your sister's working with these bastards." (22, 4 damage), her crossbow made a slight dent as it shattered itself on the chest plate of the closest enemy soldier, not like it seemed to mind this overly much.

 

Another drow, unseen to anyone but Stella; quickly ran deeper inside of the barricaded alleyway he was guarding and disappeared behind a door she hadn't noticed before after hearing gunshots aimed at the main barricade.

 

One of the metallic soldiers that had been hidden behind the walls of a building slowly but surely approaches Dagda's position as he takes aim, and pulls the trigger...again...and again....and again, (Natural 1), it seems that his gun was jammed at the moment, much to his chagrin if the rather violent attempts at pulling the bolt back was any indication.

 

'Ronnie' quickly got up from behind the barricade and completely and utterly missed the target (11), somehow managing to shoot the door of a building right across the target instead, and he let out a little curse before he ducked back behind cover and asked, "Oh yeah? Well they could have fooled me, coming in just before these black bastards started shooting at us, what are they anyway?"

Tarja watched the bolt fly through the air with more fascination than anything else, stepping sideways lightly as it whizzed past. "Are these the monster things people mentioned earlier? I was expecting something bigger." As she finished turning to face them, light crackled in one hand. "Besides, if they really wanted to hit something, why not just do this?" She gestured at the skeletal creature with her glowing hand.

 

Sacred Flame on Black Skull Soldier 1.

Dagda makes an audible grunt at the strike to his shield. Neutralize first, then ask for repentance.

Dagda Advances forward 30 feet and then attacks the Skull dude with his Hammer.

"Oh, what a bother" Stella grumbles as she moves removing rapier from her waist.

Stella uses her bonus action to dash 60 feet forward and the takes the dodge action.

Tarja prepared a bolt of divine power in her hands and (Dex save 6) proceeded to show the ridiculously slow skeletal soldier how it was done, turning up the heat a little on them and dealing (4 points of damage). Although it didn't seem to mind it that much.

 

Bregovich let out an unintelligible stream of words that someone as young and innocent as Tarja shouldn't have to hear as he took aim and fired at the first Black Skull Soldier (Natural fucking 20, 11 piercing damage), which seemed to give it pause for one glorious moment before it started to slowly walk towards the group again. He then shouted out, "Is that fire? Fire is only thing that stop it regenerating!," as he ran the fuck away and reloaded. (25 feet of movement to O27, bonus action reload)

 

It is now Stella's turn, Dagda's thing is counted after Garry and Stella's so don't worry, I'm not going to forget about it

Garry moves towards the monster while rubbing one of his temples in an effort to work of the rest of his groggy tiredness.  Once a bit closer he waves one hand and mutters something under his breath, sending out a small puff of fire that slams into the monster.

 

Garry moves the P18 and then uses Fire Bolt(14 hit, 1 dmg) on the closes monster.

Stella bravely bravely ran towards the approaching threat for some reason, brushing past Dagda as she tried to get close enough to the enemy to hit them with her sword later (Dash 60 Feet to O16, dodge action). 

Garry decides to follow her example! Running up to P18 and firing a bolt of flame at his target! A very very small bolt of flame that missed it's mark, and drew the attention of the remaining black skull soldiers....

 

Dagda, not being one to be shown up by some woman he just met in a bar, decides that since charging is in vogue this season, that he should definitely charge past her and leap out to smite the soldier with his warhammer! (17 attack, 5 damage) landing a decent blow on the black skull soldier's tough armor, noticeably denting their armor and knocking them back a bit, causing them to switch stances with a surprising amount of speed, holding his weapon as if it was a particularly short spear.

 

Jay D took a deep breath as she raised her musket, sighted her target, and somehow managed to land a shot at the Black Skull soldier right in front of Dagda despite being both out of her weapon's effective range and having to deal with his big ass covering up a decent amount of the target, (Attack 18, 13 damage!), which dealt a surprising amount of damage to the black skull soldier, tearing out a chunk of their composite armor and exposing what seemed to be a dark wooden inner armor. Black Skull Soldier 1 doesn't feel so good.

 

A third Black Skull Soldier steps up to the fray! Bringing his intimidating weapon up to aim at Dagda and ward him off of his ally! (10 Attack), which completely and utterly missed because life is pain.

 

Something landed on P7, a canister of sorts that quickly exploded and covered the alleyway in rolling darkness, preventing anyone from seeing anywhere beyond the two houses beside the entrance to the alley!.

It is now Flora's turn.

Flora stands beside her charge with a slightly odd pose, ready to flash the required gangsigns and odd sounding words needed to throw a deadly bolt of eldritch energy!...for whenever one of the black skull soldiers steps out of the darkness anyway.

Round 2 Start

 

Black Skull Soldier 1
The Black Skull Soldier in front of Dagda changes stances with a practiced ease, holding his odd crackling musket to brandish it and it's jagged barrel as an impromptu spear before he thrusts it directly at the man! (14)+6 = 20) hitting the man for (1+3=4) Piercing damage and (2) Electrical damage as a crackle of lightning surges through Dagda's metal armor!. Dagda would notice that the metal soldier seemed to be...repairing itself as it's musket-spear digs into his shoulder a little, with pieces of metal seeming to grow over it's dripping white wounds. 

 

Crossbow Girl

The crossbow wielding woman swiftly loads and fires another shot at the one soldier in sight! (13), only to find it surprisingly hard all of a sudden to hit the target without also shooting the two or so people standing in front of it, causing her to let out a curse as the bolt embeds itself on Dagda's poor and abused shield.

 

Snoop Drow

Flora and Tarja would hear the sound of a door quickly being unlocked right next to them, before it slowly swung open to reveal a surprisingly well lit home, and a man could be heard coughing just before they heard a man say, "This way! Before any more of them arrive!," in a light and nasally tone of voice.

 

Black Skull Soldier 2

This little tin soldier marches on up to P-11, leaving the cover of darkness only to completely and utterly ignore Flora's eldritch Blast as the sound of the door opening and the man coughing distracted her for a key moment, causing her shot to go off wide.

 

Ronnie James

Ronnie fares a lot better this time! As he remembers a long forgotten piece of advice and takes a deep breath...and leans in to rest his musket's barrel on the barricade to stabilize it, finally managing to land a hit this time despite all odds (20 after disadvantage)...granted it was still a glancing shot, but to be fair these things seemed ridiculously well suited to tanking gunshots in the first place (6 damage),

 

It is now Tarja's Turn.
