Lizaveta let out a breath as the fighting out here concluded. She wasn't sure if what she felt right now was relief or not; the guards out here were done with, but she found herself much less afraid than she had been during that battle with those merchants. She'd make those Perusian oppressors pay -- no, she was making them pay, seeing as they were already doing damage to the prison.

Well, we are making them pay, she mentally corrected herself. She was but a part of Virtuous, after all, it was hardly as if she was fighting the oppressors alone, or as if she could.

With Virtuous, she was just presently blasting them, but that was good enough for her. She'd have to catch up to continue it, though!
