Even after his talk with Kane, it doesn't feel right to be here. But now it's simply a matter of allying with Virtuous to pursue the same goal. It's only been a year, but it feels like a vast time since he's had a goal. A reason for being. Even the conjured image of the spear he'd put through that murderer's back, the stunned look on his face as he'd realized he'd been caught off guard, makes him regret he hadn't been strong enough to end it there. As the enemy makes their feeble attempts at hurting Ferdiad (the man's built like a brick shithouse, she notes to herself), she advances forwards. She wanted to go help her, but the threat of being ambushed by to the north and east of her position made her push that thought back into her mind. Surely Orchid could handle doing such a task. So menacing, in fact, that the Mage made it a point to absolutely do not get hit by that thing no matter what. Though he only had a split second to react, he managed to dance around Mim's arrows using his Elwind to bolster his speed, firing a few blades of wind that hit Mim in the process. He gets a bit too cocky and lets up for just a brief moment, and Mim's arrow hits him right in the gut, stopping his dancing. Spoiler Mim is too fluffy... -15 Hit on follow up! He looks big enough that though I'm sure I can cripple him, I'm not sure I can kill him all at once! I'll bore into pieces of his armor with Worm, strike for those!"
