Ice Cream Quest Guide (Spoilers obvi)

yo what's up it's your boy again writing guides because i have -100 patience and i can't mf read so this forces me to pay attention on top of helping people who might need help in the future ^^

 

so obviously you start in the renovated east gearen, visit the help center and take the 3rd quest on the list. to start, you need to go into the mall on the east side of east gearen, then go up and speak to the person who's standing outside the unused shop space on the left. she explains that she needs to become the ice cream sand witch, yada yada (don't kill me o ice cream sand witch should you see this i just don't feel the need to explain further ;__;) and to do that she needs to open her own ice cream shop. aight. she explains then she needs $30k to buy the space because... she spent all the money on your reward.  i'm not even going to question the idea that she can... yknow... just give us ice cream... she still has the money because the quest isn't done.... ok bb. so step one is give her the $30k

 

witch then explains she needs to make some wild ass flavors because witch i guess. she says you need 5 occa berries which can be found on terajuma island. she then gives you one so you can plant it if you need it, which is pretty kind of her in all honesty. you can find a couple occa berries outside of the weather station (over the bridge to kakori) and plant the other berries outside. now, if serebii is right, you just need to wait 2 days. sick.

hot tip: if you visit the girl on the west side of the bridge a little west of the same location, she sells mulch so that might help you out ^^ in order to get access to her wares, you need 20 sitrus berries, which you can just buy in the berry emporium back in the mall in east gearen.

she sells: 

> growth mulch: will reduce berry growth time by 25% (only 36 hours now!)

> stable mulch: berries will keep longer (if you think that you will forget about berries after 48 hours for some reason)

 

after you get the berries, return them back to witch. yeet. after this, you need to get 5 passho berries. you can find 2 more outside of the ranger station on terajuma shore, but otherwise wait your fun and fresh required 48 hours for your berries to grow. woo

 

now there's crime happening, but at the very least the next flavor should be really easy  you just need to go downstairs and pick up the 10 oran berries witch ordered from the berry emporium... oh ok the cops are arresting witch now. you have to clear her name, bc she owes you $25k god damn it. speak to the waitress at the restaurant next door, she kicks you out, and you see a xen grunt talking about how they're going to meet their partner on terajuma shore. head over there, and you should find them on the pier near the xen battleship next to the lighthouse. beat her, and she gives you some of the money she got from the restaurant to put laxatives in the ice cream. hell yea

 

leave terajuma shore and return to the mall in east gearen. you need to talk to the cop standing outside the poke ball shop and tell him about the xen grunt collaborating with le whoa. nothing happens besides witch getting freed, mostly. fuck da police. speak to witch back in her shop and she tells you to go talk to aya.

 

you can find aya next to the nurse joy in gearen laboratory. speak to her and she'll complete the quest for you, and you can go pick up your reward.

Passho Berries: Catch a Vivillon with Compoundeyes, teach it Thief, take it to Mount Valor Summit (the grassy area outside of the part below the peak where you can fly to), and use Thief on the Donphans in that area.

 

Got my 5 in less than thirty minutes, although it's just luck. Sadly there are no wild Mawile, since that's what carries Occa berries.
