your not being rude at all i understand what your saying but keep in mind this is supposed to be an entertaining story don 't u think it will stick out to people that the move sets are alil to much like a meta game move sets? idk about u guys but personally that would make the story harder to enjoy for me and i'm not implying that the move sets have to be brute force either an umbreon focused on avoiding damage while slowly watching it's opponent die of poisoning only to kill it off with a payback sounds awesome but still the rest of them sound to much like poke's id' run into playing showdown online >.> it's like he had more power in mind then entertainment

Keep in mind my character is a mercenary. Not exactly a pro yet (that's when he's 29) but they have to be professional battlers to be more effective, in which case means a team with move sets from the meta would make sense (though I'd get rid of confuse ray for wish.)

Not only that, but in my character's backstory, he trained with future champions and had been good at battling when he was young. To say he can't have meta game movesets doesn't make sense if you think it that way.

(also, if this was the meta, this team would get its ass kicked. These are just pokemon I either like and/or fitting for the character, including Eelektross)

well those are some interesting move sets never knew that Pokemon could learn some of those moves hmm probably cause i have no care for competitive battling in the games.

i really don't care if Lunar's character's team move set is from the meta does not really bother me at all(he is kind of like Paul from the anime in that sense)

my team is going to feel a little boring with its move set

Due to replaying MGS3 recently (ps2 ftw) I got this idea where Aeon would have shock gloves like colonel volgin and use it as torture.

Also, how would I be like Paul if I use snorlax as a bounce house? Just saying

Since he lives in Kalos currently, I think that justifies Dream World already

Tyranitar; Sand Stream (take note, this allows me to use a Sandstorm tornado like in the anime, not like in game)

Sneasel: Pickpocket (for stealing stuff)

Also @rustytengo, are we going to have my former sister in the plot, as a minor character

he would be like Paul because Paul was about the only trainer in the anime who actually used pokemon and moves that would be in competitive or at least how people use competitive teams with the anime style

and i am not sure about the shock gloves so that would be a maybe if i want to use it

and rose well lets see not as far as i wish i could be given i just got a influx of new information in the last week it kind of messed me up a little in trying to figure where to fit people in from what i was originally thinking of doing

and Noir it really depends on what i will be using your character for in the story given he will appear later in the story i probably won't have her in tell probably the Johto part of the story so currently not right now she won't be but probably later

and just to let y'all know i really have not thought much on the abilities given i don't know most of the effects of them but the ones i do know will get use if i can figure a good way to use them

I'll base this off myself when I write fanfictions based on my Pokemon experience.

Name- Jerome (Redacted)

Hometown- Cerulean City

Family/Reltationships- Mother, Father (adventuring in some other region), Misty (girlfriend, yes, the Gym Leader. Travels with Jerome on her time off.)

Appearance- Pretty short, 5'7. Wearing a hat similar to Red's, always has his signature Pokemon by his side, a Raichu named Shocker. Must wear glasses or has eyesight similar to that of a Zubat's. Wears a t-shirt and shorts (they're comfy and easy to wear.) most of the time along with white socks and red Running Shoes.

Pokemon:

Shocker (M)- Pikachu, evolves into Raichu between Cerulean City and Vermillion City. Moves: T-Bolt, HP Ice, Grass Knot, Thunder Wave (Lightning Rod)

Eevee (F)- Evolves into Espeon between Fuschia and Saffron City (before challenging Giovanni). Moves: Psychic, Signal Beam, Light Screen, Reflect (Magic Bounce)

Magikarp (F)- Evolves into Gyarados at Vermillion City. Moves: Ice Fang, Earthquake, Waterfall, Dragon Dance (Moxie)

Charmander (M)- Evolves into Charmeleon in Cerulean City, Charizard at Celadon City. Moves: Sunny Day, SolarBeam, Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse

Background Pokemon Information:

Shocker- Starter Pokemon. Originally caught in his front yard of his house using a Poke Ball his mother gave him. Most loyal of his six active Party Pokemon.

Eevee: Obtained as an Egg from Bill, hatches on the way to Vermillion city.

Magikarp: Caught in Vermillion City (evolves after many hours of level grinding)

Charmander: Caught in the wild.

Togepi: Gift from Misty

Dratini: Obtained Celadon City Game Corner

Personality: Takes battling seriously. Espeon will usually go first if the opponent's lead it a Rock type so it can send back the Stealth Rocks with a Magic Bounce. If the opponent sends out a Pokemon from the same evolution line as a Pokemon in his team, he will usually send his own to battle (example: Opponent sends out Pikachu, I send out Raichu). Can be calm at times, but can get very mad if someone says the wrong thing to him. Tries to make smart moves when switching and tries to predict the opponent. Very smart.

Hobbies: Sleeping, hates being wakes up in the morning. Eating, because food is awesome and tastes good. Pokemon training, why did we all become Pokemon Trainers in the first place?

Habits: Talks to everyone he comes across. Who doesn't? Catches every Pokemon he doesn't have in his Pokedex. Catches every Pokemon in a standard Pokeball.

Reactions to Gym Leaders:

Brock: It took me 10 seconds to reach you from the entrance, not 10 light years....

Misty: Just because we're in a relationship doesn't mean I'm going easy on you.

Lt. Surge: Shocker, absorb those electric attack with Lightning Rod!

Koga: I am seeing into the future... In two years, you will be part of the Elite 4 of Kanto and Johto.

Sabrina: Espeon, set up your Light Screen and Refl- *gets KOed*

Giovanni: The leader of Team Rocket?! How do the police not have him in custody yet?!

So hey this is probably the first post that i am going to be a little mean in.

But before that i what do you mean by cyborgs exactly lunar cause that makes my brain go into gunslinger girls mode.

Now it time for me to be a little mean i thank you Jerome for your interest in the story and wanting to have a character in it but because Vergil asked first the character that he will give is going to be the last character that i was going to use(for now) because it would the bring the number of characters to ten and i think that will be all the characters that i can handle in a story so i am sorry about that if anything your character may not have a big part in the story but he may get mentioned or appear as a trainer during the league tournament near the end of the first part of the story.

So Vergil Its fine you can join though your character is going to the last that will really have part in the story.

Okay you need my character well here is one I got:

Name: Vergil the Dark Knight

Hometown: A small village on Mt Silver

Family/Relationships: Mother still living in the small village, Father deceased any other forms of relationship is non existent for a knight.

Appearance: Vergil is 5"7 with silver hair he wears a black jumper with one spiked pauldron and armoured on arm (his left one) and Army trousers with black boots. He wears a small amulet like pendent with a Black Pokeball on it a scared memorial to his father who came up with its design before perishing.

Pokemon: His Black Charizard, Volcanus which is always kept close to his heart (the black pokeball) this was his starter, Since then hes acquired Masamune the Scizor and King the Gallade and finally his trusty Absol, Black Knight. His pokemon arent many but they were trained at the harsh environments of Mt Silver to endure all forms of combat.

Personality: Is oddly a very open pokemon trainer, he aspires to defeat all evil from the world as he was what caused his fathers death. This resolve to change the world pulled him through and thanks to Volcanus hes decided no one else will feel his pain again. As a person he gets on really well with others even if he seems a little awkward its because most of interactions have been with pokemon not people.

Hobbies: Loves to train and capture loyal pokemon for his team of pokemon warriors after all to cleanse the world of evil he needs more than just himself. Other hobbies include eating yummy foods (which he shyly enjoys to quite some degree) and traveling with others. He also loves pokemon and is a great cook (though most people don't know this right away).

Habits: Refuses to leave evil be if he gets a small smell of evil hes off like a jolt otherwise he suffers from nightmares occasionally but thats about it.
