Come September I'll temporarily be in Toronto. Favorite color is red - my parents knew why, apparently... as my father told me, it might have come from the color of his car. My grandma said that when I was young, I was curious about colors and how you could always see green, blue, and yellow, but not always red; she then bought me a whole bunch of red stuff - a Corvette model, red Lego, and a red hat to make up for the lack of red in the world. It seemed, to me, to be some bullshit which my mom used to teach me about balance and looking carefully for things and whatnot, but I guess it worked.
