Thanks for tuning in to our channel and watching Hunger Games Live This is your host Prince Candy, bringing you the latest juicy scoop coming directly from the Games arena. The suspense continues as tributes start finding for the title of Victor, the first ever hailing from Reborn! But the night has fallen, and an update on statistics is due. Later, I will interview none other than our beloved Game Maker, so don't leave your seat *Statistics flash on the screen* A total of [7] tributes attempted to shoot another tribute during this phase. Unfortunately, none of the shootings resulted in death. A total of [4] tributes currently suffer from poisoning. Well, that was uneventful. I hope the Game Makers have something in mind to spice things up soon! At least I guess we can look forward to watching how resourceful the poisoned tributes will be, for they must cure their poisoning or they'll meet their demise. Trackerjacker venom is nothing to trifle with. Perhaps they could check back in the Cornucopia, to see if there may be items that could help their case, but there are some tributes that have remained in proximity to that site, so perhaps they'd just be hastening their ends. Another possibility would be to depend on sponsors, but I wonder if that would just be a hopeless dream? Anyhow, 24 players remain in the field, 2 of which are our favorite couple! It's time to check on our tributes, who have diligently continued their search for resources during the night. Now it's a brand new day, and with it, another day of action. Last day was boring due to our tributes being new to Capitol-made weapons, and missing their shots way too much. I hope that today we'll see more blood. How are the odds of that happening? Can you tell us a bit about the positioning of the tributes? They appear rather dispersed so far, so I don't know if we'll see many shootings. Unless the Game Maker has something in mind to bring them close together, I think we're in it for another disappointing day. Bummer! The arena is just way too spacious. I mean, it's great that the Capitol has built a state of the art facility just for this Hunger Games, but I think they exceeded themselves. Don't you have an interview with the Game Maker lined up today, like right about now? You should ask them what they plan to speed up the Game. That's true. They cancelled our interview last minute the previous night, but they should actually be here in no time. ... Oh, speaking of the devil, I've just gotten notice that they're here! Ladies, gentlemen and everyone, please welcome our Head Game Maker for the Hunger Games at Reborn! Thank you, thank you. I'm glad to be here today, and I'm sorry I had to cancel our appointment last night. That's alright, I know you're a busy person, especially with the Hunger Games on the TV. Do you care to share with us what you are planning for the Games in the recent future? I hear voices of disappointment from the lack of deaths besides the Bloodbath that came with the first day. I heard them too, but you see, we're trying to balance the number of deaths per day so that the Games don't end too soon. I mean, it's been months of hyping it up for it to last 3 days... now that would be a let down. To out viewers, I offer words to reassure you that the Games will catch up speed as the tributes start learning to use their weapons, as their judgment gets clouded by lack of food and/or water and/or poisoning, and most importantly, as they start obtaining more items which might give them an advantage on the arena. That's why on behalf of the tributes, it os our hope that you will call us to sponsor a tribute. So you're saying you will just let the Games catch pace on their own? Not exactly. I've come to answer your expectations of making the Hunger Games an unforgettable show. A quick recap of the day for everyone first. *Screen flashes statistics* A total of [5] tributes attempted to shoot another tribute during this phase. [1] shot was successful; however it resulted in no deaths. A total of [4] tributes currently suffer from poisoning, [3] of whom will fall this night phase unless they save themselves through the graces of RNGesus. Let's take a look at what's about to happen, shall we? *TV screen switches to an aerial view of the whole Hunger Games Arena* Look at those little tributes, minding their own business as night settles in. Finding hideouts, collecting rations, building traps to catch their next meal... lovely. Let's see how well they react to earth-shaking change, in the literal sense. *Camera shows scenes of tributes ignorant of what is about to happen, then they notice the earth vibrating under their feet* I guess it was time that this Hunger Games Sugoroku started living up to its name, for in a Sugoroku, players move the amount of steps they roll on a dice. *The earth vibrations become stronger* *Camera switches to aerial view again, and now it is visible that the center of the Arena is caving in* What better way to make this checker board into a Sugoroku, than to erase the tiles in the middle? Everyone shall move in circles... *The caving in motion catches momentum, and the loud sound alerts the tributes to start running away from the center as fast as possible* If anyone dies in the process of changing up the Arena, well, more blood is never a bad thing, right? ... It seems the metamorphosis is complete. Spoiler *Speaking through the microphone that connects to the Arena, so all tributes can hear* As you can see, I got rid of the whole midsection of the Arena, because you tributes keep avoiding each other, and that is frankly not fun to watch. Our audience is here to watch you fight to the death, not wither slowly by foolishly smashing into trackerjacker-infested trees. If I wanted you to perish by the mechanisms of the Arena, I'd already have sprayed 10M hydrochloric acid on all of you so that you die a most painful death. However, I have been merciful. In exchange, I seek that you do your job and entertain us, the Capitol. The rules remain the same, and your actions also do remain essentially the same. What changes is on my side of things. When you roll an 8-sided dice during the night, the number you roll will no longer determine direction of movement, but instead will determine the number of steps you take in the clockwise direction. Players who were located in the midsection of the Arena have been moved [1] tile over to the closest tile on the new Arena. Enjoy your new environment, tributes. May the odds be ever in your favor! Whether or not you did, I certainly missed you I'm back again with the juicy scoop, just in time to start a new day in the Hunger Games Arena! Last night we saw a huge shift in Arena layout, brought to us by an earthquake that caved the midsection of the field in, so that it was virtually inaccessible. How have our tributes fared since then? Let's find out! *Screen flashes scenes of tributes running away from the earthquake's epicenter, some nearly falling to the abyss in the process* No tribute passed away during the earthquake, though we recorded a few who were caught in landslides and were injured. As for the rest of the night, one tribute succumbed to the poisoning. Jason Grace (Dive) has fallen! They were [Insert Nickname Here]! What, only one? But If I recall correctly, there were three poisoned tributes due to pass from trackerjacker venom, were there not? In an unforeseen twist of fate, the other two poisoned tributes managed to find a field of curative herbs just before they lost mobility and perished. Call it beginner's luck or whatever, but I guess we'll have to wait for more tributes to fall. Well, I dearly hope that the new Arena layout will provide us with more action and blood. You know, Veronica, an update on Katniss and Peeta would be coming in great if you have some time during the day to make a segment about them. Okay, Prince Candy. I will check on them and report on them hopefully during the day. It's been rather difficult to record them together, because they aren't actually traveling together as far as I could see, and Peeta being talented in the art of camouflage doesn't help me localize him in particular. I'm your host Prince Candy, bringing you the juicy scoop as always As mentioned on our social media page, the Game Maker has created a microcosm of the Hunger Games right were the midsection was. This change comes only hours after they destroyed the same part with an Arena-wide landslide/earthquake. It would seem to be yet another additional feature of this year's Hunger Games, and the tributes have explored the new installations with much curiosity. Veronica, what exactly do you think is the Game Maker thinking, making one change after another in such a short period of time? Well, Game Makers are known to employ many tricks during the Hunger Games in order to encourage more conflict and death in their Arenas. I don't think these changes are out of the ordinary, considering the whole history of the Hunger Games, but perhaps the Game Maker is experimenting and adapting the Arena to meet a higher deaths-per-day quota, which they have been consistently underscoring so far. I can imagine their desperation. The Hunger Games are largely based on luck, and from what I've seen, this year's tributes have been exceedingly lucky where they avoid death (just look at the two tributes who managed to find curative plants to cure their poisoning against all odds) but also don't give two sh*ts about learning how to wield their weapons, making them miss their targets so often that it's nothing but a waste of good metal. Yes, Prince Candy. I think that ties in with the microcosm that was created recently, since it is a method of rewarding tributes that show discipline with sponsor items. Perhaps the Game Maker reached the conclusion that training the tributes more on the ways of the Games, using a death-free practice zone, would yield better results when it comes to the actual PvP combat. Let's hope that the Game Maker's efforts aren't in vain, for so far they haven't born fruit. That's all for today, have a wonderful evening, everybody! Game Maker is happy with the substantial increase in shot attempts. Out of those [2] shots were successful, but it resulted in no fallen tributes. Game Maker says it's a matter of time now, however. Yes, in the studio, because what I just stated does not apply to the Arena! Prince Candy, look! The flames are everywhere, and they don't seem to recede at all! That's right, everyone. The Game Maker has decided to heat up the Games, literally! The Arena's on fire, blazing strongly on the forest areas! What could be the meaning of this? Does the Game Maker mean to burn the tributes who hid in the forests to a crisp? This getting LIT my folks! Prince Candy... too many fire-jokes... Don't say that, Veronica. I'm on fire! Anyhow, look, the fires are finally getting extinguished. It appears the tributes are safe from burns, but the large forests that covered several parts of the Arena are gone. All that remains is a dark desert, full of burnt debris. Yes, this might be a Game changer. From the first day of the Hunger Games, we've seen tributes take advantage of the large trees and bushes of the forest to hide from their hunters. Now that those hiding spaces are gone, they'll definitely be much more exposed to their enemies. I can't wait to see what results from this change! The day has just begun! Though the forest burning took precedence due to it being broadcasted real time, it's also pertinent that we announce that one more tribute succumbed to trackerjacker poison last night. This part is where a green, dense forest stood, but because of a sudden wild fire, it has been turned into a sea of ashes. There's one tribute, Bazaro, standing with whom I think is Nano4. I don't think they're going to negotiate anything, however, from their defensive stances and the fact that it looks like they're taking aim on each other to shoot. *Veronica moves closer to Bazaro* Hello hello, tribute. Sorry to interrupt you, but I'd like to get an insider's info on the recent tributes dynamics. Tell me, do you think most tributes have decided to form alliances with each other, or do they prefer to survive individually? "alliances are lame" Oh, so you think most people are going around individually? "it's no secret" Doesn't seem to be. However, do you not see any advantage in forming an alliance? I mean, maybe you could get antidotes when you're poisoned or collaborate with others to shoot down a particular target. At least such are the things I believe to be advantageous from forming a team. There's 1 poisoned fellow who will be giving their all this coming night to find curative plants before they do a die. I went shopping and wasted money which made me happy but also the stuff was heavy and my arms are tired from carrying that stuff. One was Jace, who succumbed to trackerjacker poisoning, and the other was Lía, who went to get items from the Feast but ran into a mob of tributes who ended up killing her. Jace has fallen! He was [ara ara]! Lía has fallen! She was [insert nickname here]! Great~ Two more down and 16 more tributes to go~ This is getting exciting, especially seeing the creativity flowing in the minds of quite a few tributes is one of my favorite parts so far in this Hunger Games. When will they use their AK-47? When will they hide themselves instead? It's all a split second decision every time, but every one of those times gotta require more than 100% of their thinking power! You're right Prince Candy. I thought there'd be more tributes dying from poisoning, but actually half or more have found ways to cure their crippling condition.
