Which Starter Pokemon Should Have a Mega Evolution

Only few starters have Mega Evolution. Which Starter Pokemon that don't have them should?

i feel it should be less about if they deserved it and more about needing it, the gen 5 trio with exception of serperior maybe, could really use megas to be more viable options

Actually, Ash Greninja is not a Mega Evolution. It is a special form Greninja takes on to look more like Ash due to their strong bond. Also, Gen 2 starters do have Mega Evolutions.

Typhlosion already has a Mega Evolution, I think...

I’d like Meganium to have one. Imagine Mega Meganium. 

 

Also for Emboar and Incineroar, then their next forms would become quadrupedal. Then they stay that way for good.

I think Meganium can Mega Evolve by holding the Meganiumite. I also think that Emboar and Incineroar would have awesome Mega Evolutions.

Close enough to a Mega (in form and in stat boosts) that Greninja doesn't need anything else.  

 

You're thinking about the fanmade Gen 2 megas from Insurgence, probably.  Gen 2 starters have no canon mega evolution.

 

 

 

Overall, I definitely feel the Gen 2 or Gen 5 starters need them more than anything, except Serperior because it already has potentially busted ability in Contrary.

They don't have official ones that can be used in Nintendo yet but a lot of people have made fakemon megas for them

 

I myself would of loved 2nd gen mega all of them kinda need it
