Because this might be one of the more difficult days we endure. I would like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of this. I owe all of you very much. We all owe Nyu, especially, for even putting up a server and home for us, for a project that I did not expect to have more than a few challengers, as last time. Goodness, was I wrong. I would like to thank the challengers too, the members, both veterans and newcomers, because it is you, the audience, who make this possible. I am grateful for each and every one of you. If you believe yourself to be an annoyance, or in some other way, not good enough to be company to our community- you are wrong. Because I, at least, am glad that you are here. I do not see any of you as burdens, or bothers. And there is not a single one among you who I hate, or even dislike. And as long as that is true, you will all always have a home, and friends here. This is your site. All of yours, because you make the challenge worth living. To my other staff, I am indebted to you as well. Without you all, I would have cracked under the weight of this site long ago. I feel I do not often enough express my gratitude to you- or any of you- for helping me with everything that goes on here, and letting us keep this a friendly, active, and- well, generally cool place. I remember when we were in class just talking about Shoddy and how we should make a league and I was like that'd be so cool and of course good ol' Nick with his bored self worked on it all day making teams and sprites. Oh I remember how everytime I looked at what he was doing he'd just be making sprites and I'd be like who's that? what are they gonna be like? Of course this was after our PokePlace died and it died several times, but now it's up and running, we're making a name for ourselves and we have a bit over 240 registered members, and about give or take 20 regular users and posters. To think that something that was expected to only harbor a few members grow so large. I know I didn't create it or help with the over all forums and stuff but it feels good to see how this thing has grown. As a veteran. Nick knows that with one word I'll come back, and help and even talk to him about it. I'm glad to have come back after a long absence. I feel like I'm the part of something big and that I'm helping move it along. I love the people I have gotten to know and the friends I've made here. God it feels as if I'm talking at circle, doing a speech before our big performance (you get me Nick.) We've all had really good times here and I want to keep them alive. Though we might face troubles I feel this is a family who will support each other. So lets continue on being Reborn. I love you all. Thank you for taking me back and making me a trusted PO Mod. But no really, this place has grown beyond expectations. Especially after it died all those other times. It's been so long, you actually had to remind me I helped start this place. But I say that's not true. This isn't the place I started, this is the place you and the others started and followed through with, Ame. As much as it is the result of everyone who populates this place, this is definitely all the work of you and the new crew. So hats off to you all, this place has been fun. I know I don't have as much of a history to speak of as the posts above me, (sans Bullet cause he didn't say much about his own) but... For as long as I have been here, it's been pretty awesome. Reborn is... eccentric, to say the least, but if you ask me, there's no problem there~ Ice brought up that you guys have been a community (althought maybe with a lot of member list shifts) since 2006... Incredible. Maybe I wasn't here for the start, but I'll be around for the rest of it, hopefully. The league... cheesy as this might be, so was the original post, so nyeh. The league you've been running, Ame, is one of my favorite things about the site/server. Sure they're all just playing characters, but, as I said to you before, a a good performance always comes from somewhere, and a great performance indeed. I haven't ever really been able to be myself in any other place; it's always my favorite place. And I'm pleased to say that Reborn's been looking better now than it has in a long, long time...it's just so great. And what with the holidays, why shouldn't we (avoiding wynaut) be in such a good mood? Really, this place is the community that can be open to each other, whether it be through laughs or seriousness, and I admire that. The days roll by, and we've gone through highs and lows as a community. Thanks to everyone for putting up for my quirkiness. To Will for constantly amazing us with +Infinitas; you keep wowing me. If only I had your drawing skills... To Ame for keeping things together... holy crap, man, you have managed the server as well as anyone could have. To Kitty for being a kitty :3 To Nyu for enabling us to do all of this: we owe you big time. To the mods of Reborn for keeping their cool through thick and thin, and being cool on a daily basis. To GG for cracking me up every day with the highlights To the leaders, who don't really get as much thanks as they should for dedicating the time to give us these challenges. To everyone else I've forgotten to mention, the true heart and soul of the server... And, I guess I have to thank myself too for being awesome. ?
