surrounded by death rattles.

into their poor target's head,

in one instant, scores of dead.

Resisting the urge to just burst into laughter, which would probably be ill-fitted for this current situation, she doubles over and snickers to herself for a few moments, prompting a confused head-toss from Iba.

The two rightful rulers exchange blows. In mere moments both of them are brought to their knees. However, Rosanne was able to push through and channel Glacius' power through the ground and a line of ice spikes zoomed toward the rebel leader. It looks the the rebellion will come to an end...

That is until a black figure leap from on top of the statute directly in front of the fiery tactician. He formed a dark purple barrier which collided with Rosanne's frigid attack creating a could of icy pale blue and shadowy deep purple. When the cloud subsided the figure revealed itself...

 

It was an armored man atop of a black steed wielding a black lance. The air begins to feel thick, like every breath is harder to take in than the last. All who are even slightly attuned to magic can feel his overwhelming presence while the others just begin to feel heavier and heavier by the moment. 

 

As he gaze locked upon the armored knight Nicolos' mouth began to gape, "Wait you're-"

 

"Kaff! Hech!" The mage could not finish his words with being interuppted by his boding coughing up a bit of blood.

 

"Leave, Now." Was all the knight spoke glaring directly at the members of Team Glacius. His voice was deep and filled with rage... or was it disappointment...? The knight swings his lance towards the ground and another wave of chills goes across the field. After a few moments of silence, who is brave enough to speak with this figure.

Candide may have been blind, but he was not an idiot. When a figure seemed to suddenly have entered the battle, combined with some sort of... presence that made the former knight of Arne feel chills even without being able to see what was going on, well... here there was only one real possibility.

"Sir Lancelot the Black, I assume. It is a shame I never had the opportunity to see one of Tameloc's Knights of the Round Table with my own two eyes, but it is an honor to be in your presence anyway."

As Candide spoke a"Splat!" of something hitting the figures armor could be heard.

"Meanie!!" Blodeuyn yells at him though labored breaths, struggling to stand up fully as she threw another mushroom at him. " We were about to win and beat the Nickles guy and then everything would go back to normal." She dug in her pouch again as it hit him pulling out yet another mushroom. "Big sister Vivienne would come back home. Apologize to Master Merlin and the bad dreams will go away again." She said throwing the mushroom though this one landing short as she fell back to her knees from her wounds and the pressure of the man. "Big meanie....." she mumbled as she tried to dig out another mushroom though she seemed a bit to weak to do so.

Candide frowned, and heard additional splats and bouncing sounds, and heard Blodeuyn struggling very audibly, the rustle of her pouch and the groans of her breaths. Honestly, he was a little flabbergasted, and it showed in the hesitance of his motions, but...

"Euh... petite mademoiselle..."

 

Candide slowly bent down and gently but firmly put a hand on her pouch -- well, actually, first her arm, as he missed, but then her pouch, keeping her from withdrawing another mushroom.

"You... should not be trying to stand until Monsieur Lucan has an opportunity to tend to you... much less, euh, whatever this is."

Rosanne could see victory, she could see the rebellion finished. And after Nicolos, she would clean up the Tsukiochi and then finally the long awaited peace would return to Tameloc. But things were never that easy. 

 

"Why? Why are you defending this trash." The queen stood up, and immediately every wound in her body cried out trying to bring her back to her knees. Still, the dignified woman mustered all her will and stood tall. But still, nowhere near as tall as the Black Knight. "Sir Lancelot, he purged our kingdom into chaos, and opened it to invasion. If you do not love me or my blood, if you do not love this kingdom, do it for the love we both bore for Arthur; step aside so I may fix this kingdom. And I'd be most grateful if you would join me in the battles still to come."

Gwyn felt the knight's oppressive presence clearly. He did have a certain reputation, but he was one of the Knights, so Gwyn had no reason to be afraid, right? Seemingly missing the outright hostile tone in the man's voice, Gwyn swung Gaheris towards him and called out.

"Sir Lancelot! Sir Lancelot! I'm so happy to finally meet you! I wanted to ever since Lady Titania mentioned you. Well, and all the other knights, but you too! Oh, this is gonna make a great story for Ari."

She was still tucking away the shimmering cloth, just about to turn and guide Iba back into the fray, when a sudden, intense atmospheric weight jars her to a stop.

 

"—!"

 

With a gasp, she leans over in the saddle a bit, sucking in a deep breath as best as she can. What the hell is—? And then it becomes clear a moment later, as a shadowed figure who hadn't been there a second ago suddenly appears between Nicolos and Rosanne, both of them wounded. Juliett's eyes widen. Who...? 

 

Could this be... Lancelot? The one they've all been looking for? Hearing the rumors and the stories, who else would have such an oppressive presence? Suddenly, it became all too clear why Nicolos wanted to find him and ask for his help; who would want to fight against someone like that?

 

As some of the others begin to recover from the sudden surprise and she sees the blue-haired queen-to-be get to her feet, Juliett cautiously makes her way back over to the group.
