Fumble
Ok im doing a ranger quest and im trying to look for a guy on route 4 and cant find him can anyone help? Which Ranger quest are you doing? The one about the thief? If so, in one of the houses, there will be a person who tells you how the thief went to Blackview City.

Developers Caz Posted April 30, 2016 Author Developers Share Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) I've had some questions about the post I made a few days ago regarding mega evolution. I thought I'd make the system clear. I want to perhaps add in one new custom mega each month or two. 1: I create a poll with suggestions from myself and you guys. The poll lasts for three weeks. 2: The winning suggestion is guaranteed a Mega Evolution, which I implement in the fourth week, consulting experienced battlers in the competitive scene here beforehand. 3: I post the new mega evolution here on the last day of the four week cycle. 4: The day after, I put the new suggestions in a new poll. Second and sometimes third place in the previous poll will be included in the suggestions. I hope that helps you understand a little better how this'll work. I appreciate mega evolution ideas from the community, particularly battlers here who know what is viable in the metagame and what is too powerful, or too weak. sandy
man caz this episode, i loved it altho i spent most of my time trying to traverse my way through blackview city, it may just be my team but i found Tristan WAY harder than Emily, and that ending wow caz tho personally i would have liked a little peeek at what was going on in our next destination as it seems something big is going to go down. also what was your intention with the trainers between tristan and Emily? as after i beat Tristan my team was 43-46 yet i found myself easily hitting level cap wiht my entire team way before i even fought Emily anyway it was a good episode keep it up,

The side-quests/events offer a good variety.
Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted April 30, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted April 30, 2016 So I decided to start a new file and make a copy where one file is Shiv and one file is Nova. Partially because of wanting to find Scarlett's bow on the Shiv run, and partially because the Shiv run I still had as my original file didn't have episode 1's reputation points, and partially because of another reason that I don't remember. Frostilicious
So I've just finished ep 3 and I have to say it's a really nice improvement from episode two with much content and sidequests/mystery to cover. Honestly the sidequests were what took me longer to do rather than the main story, although the main story's events kept me going. Some things I noticed tho and I don't know if they were mentioned. The Hypno's sprite was outside the house in my 3.0 version and I couldn't interract with it. Also the ranger's ship on the fox's island kept moving as i was moving as well. -Don't know if I should put in spoiler or not since they're bugs-. Also, where can I find the 4th of the 4 pokemon? If someone could pm me instead of telling me here it'd be appreciated for any potential spoilers. Edited April 30, 2016 by timbla
Zargerth
I finally managed to defeat Tristan, but man did it require hax and A.I. exploits. To be honest I don't know how you're supposed to beat that guy without resorting to such underhanded tactics. I had to switch battles to Shift as well just to land Will o' Wisp on a nasty surprise of his. I know the gym leaders in this game aren't supposed to be easy, but Tristan is brutal. I guess I was ill prepared for the battle, did anyone else find him hard?
nepeta100
I felt that the level of the wild pokemon after the ice cave could have been done better. In my opinion you should have kept the level of them constant because my pokemon weren't strong enough to let repels work even though I beat all the trainers In the cave. edit:I got the shiny key was that from activating all the switches or is there another thing that happens because I checked silver forest thoroughly and I don't see any more bridges and I also got this brass key both keys I have no idea where they would go except possibly for the people locked outside in the beginning of the episode Edited April 30, 2016 by nepeta100

Fumble
Tristan was actually really easy for me... Exploud was the hardest Pokemon on his team for me, as he kept killing everything if I didn't use Light Screen turn 1. Mega Lopunny was easily dealt with because Aggron's Protect made him miss High Jump Kicks, killing it, and his other Pokemon were also dealt with by STABs, even with the Fighting nerf. Emily was harder imo, even with 2 Ground types... edit:I got the shiny key was that from activating all the switches or is there another thing that happens because I checked silver forest thoroughly and I don't see any more bridges and I also got this brass key both keys I have no idea where they would go except possibly for the people locked outside in the beginning of the episode Brass Key can be used for the house on Silver Rise peak. idk about Shiny Key, but there's also a Froslass in the place where you get the Shiny Key. Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted April 30, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted April 30, 2016 Wait, there's a Shiny Key? Where is that? EDIT: I found a bug. When the professor asks you to come here, it's possible for this NPC to get in the way and block the path, preventing the event from finishing. FairFamily
Wait, there's a Shiny Key? Developers Caz Posted April 30, 2016 Author Developers Share Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) In regards to the many 'key' questions, I'll give you a rundown. 1: Shiny Key. This is found in the Silver underground beneath silver forest. This key is useless alone without its counterpart, the dull key. 2: Dull Key. This found in Silver Rise in a secret area near the Silver Rise peak. Together with the dull key it opens a door in Blackview City, revealing the Yellow Piece. 3: Brass Key. Opens a door at the summit of Silver Rise, revealing a mega stone and a competitive Trapinch. 4: Odd Key. As the lady mentions, it is for a storehouse in Cellia City and so is currently useless.
