Slith265 Posted July 23, 2019 Share Posted July 23, 2019 I tried to play this game so many times, each time is more beautiful than before but i can´t continue to play when everytime im speaking to someone, melia arrives and suddenly all the topics in the conversation is just about her, and they are not even interesting topics, it seems that the game just want to interrupt every interaction the MC has with other characters to focus on melia like saying "Hey im the mainspotlight here don´t forget about me" i mean, your mother just died and she just suddenly appears and starts to make jokes to madameX. Then the bitchy attitude of saki and amber just makes it all worse (With this thread im just saying that the story so far to telia resort just pushes me back, i really want to play this game it´s freacking beautiful and it seems that it´s created with a lot of love and effort, if only you guys could help me love this game by telling me some reason to continue I would appreciate it very much.) Leon_Genesis Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 Sadly I have to agree a bit, I love this whole game to death but Melia just doesn't feel right to me. I don't know if anyone else feels this way (Since this is my first time really interacting with the community) but Melia always gives off a Mary Sue vibe for me. I don't want to say she is one but that's just how it feels for me, and because of it I can't really bring myself to like her. My advice would be to try and focus more on the story and gameplay, and keep in mind that some really good character moments are coming up (idk exactly where you are at telia but Tesla does something really amazing there) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Vhein Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 The MC get's way more importance later in the game, and some spotlight too, if Jan is trying so hard to bring Melia to the spotlight it's because she's the true MC of the game. Along with 354 other ones like Ren, Aelita, Venam, ................................. Ok just joking, it's mostly about Melia in the end.
