Summer
Hey, so I've been playing Yu-Gi-Oh for quite awhile now, and have been a pretty okay duelist, if I say so muself. So, I have gone through some serious thinking and have come up with some of the fastest way to summon the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon that usually requires THREE Blue Eyes to pull off. It's crazy, 4 cards just to summon one monster, but I have come up with new never-before thought of tactics to summon him, so here goes: 1. Revival. Set a magic jammer/rageki break, or just use lightning vortex to discard BEUD and afterwards, summon it through Monster Reborn or Call of the haunted. You only need like 2 cards to pull this off. 2. TWO BLUE EYES ULTIMATE??? First, activate Fusion Gate, then use Chain Material. Fuse three Blue eyes from your dexk for a first blue eyes ultimate. Then, use Burial from the D.D to send all 3 blue eyes back to grave to refuse them for another Blue Eyes Ultimate. From there, just XYZ whatever Rank 12s there are and the game's yours. 3. Substitution. If you can't manage to get all three Blue Eyes in your hand for a Blue Eyes Ultimate, don't worry! There are cards which can sub in for fusion like, King of Swamp or Hex-Sealed. If you happen to draw into 3 King of swamps and only one Blue Eyes, just send one King to add a Polymerization and fuse all three to get your Ultimate dragon!. I hope you enjoyed the guide to being a better Yu-Gi-Oh player, and have fun!
Maelstrom
Not sure if I recall correctly, but you can't discard BEUD from your hand because it doesn't go into your deck and thus does not go into your hand. Fusions go in the fusion deck on the side, which does not count toward your deck minimum. And even if you could somehow simply discard it, pretty sure there's a ruling that fusion and special summon monsters had to have actually been summoned to be able to be revived from the graveyard. Fezzdog
Cyber-stein GG You can't discard Blue-Eyes using Lightning Vortex because he's in the Extra Deck. Only way to do so would be Gale Dogra, whose also in traditional format as well as Cyber-stein I think. Most reliable way to get out a BEUD right now I reckon would be through Maiden with Blue Eyes and Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon or through an odd level 8 Hieratic build. Problem with Chain Material is you can't attack directly and the fusions are destroyed at End Phase. Other Chain Material decks get around it by using an infinite loop with E-Hero Electrum and Blaze Fenix for burn damage.
Ackalacka
With all due respect, Blue Eye Ultimate Dragon is useless... Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon has 4500 Attack, no effect and requires you to sacrifice three monsters whose Attack's total up to 9000 and are nearly impossible to get all on the field at the same time. What the fuck... XD

Kingd353
ok first of all ultamite dragon isn't useless by any means the blue eyes don't have to be on the feild to be fursed they only need to be in your hand or osme in your hand some on the field secondly your better off using sincros and xyz's but if u are hell bent on using blue eyes if i recall correctly there are 2 cards that will help u get instant ultamite dragons infact u can combine them in a combo to get 2 blue eyes ultamite dragons on the field card number 1 is future fusion witch allows u to take the required material from the dieck and send it to the graveyard in 2 or 3 turns forgot witch you can special summon your fusion monster to the field the other card is called dragons hand mirror i belive witch is usually used to summon the 5 headed dragon but can be used for ultamite dragon as well this card allows u to remove fusion material in the graveyard from play to suppon up your fusion monster if u use future fusion then dragons hand mirror u will get 1 fusion now and another 2 turns later so it becomes double the threat and to the person who said it's a waste because 3 blue eyes combined is 9000 use your head if your facing a shinato for example shinato will blast through all your blue eyes but will not be able to take down the ultamite dragon and fusing 3 blue eyes in your hand is easier then playing all 3 since they require 2 sacrifices a peace
Maelstrom
I remember using cyber stein in one of the gameboy games. that thing takes out a shit ton of life and if they destroy it with a trap or spell, you're usually left wide open (esp if you were going for 2 turn kill with it at the start of the game). love them maneater bugs. I thought Future Fusion was banned since Chaos Dragons shenanigans, but apparently it's only Limited. Big Eye is still a gigantic problem if you don't OTK that very second, because you will have exhausted all your resources and hand most likely. Any kind of beatstick goes down to one trap after you've spent 4 cards trying to summon him. The resources that you need for a successful BEUD summon leave you way too open. Fezzdog
big eye is a very rare monster to encounter You must be joking, I wouldn't be surprised if more than half of the people at the latest YCS used Dragon Rulers, and you don't see Dragon Rulers without seeing Big Eye. It's only semi-nomi to the point of being a fusion monster. It can't be special summoned directly from the grave as Summer suggested, but it can be special summoned (different from proper fusion summon) directly through the Extra Deck through Cyberstein, Metamorphosis, Dragon's Mirror or Summoner of Illusions. If not fusion summoned properly, cards like Monster Reborn don't work because the fusion monster wasn't summoned through the correct way. This also happens if a monster's summon was negated through cards like Solemn Warning and Solemn Judgment. If it was summoned correctly through fusion summon, then Monster Reborn will work fine unless the card itself has a clause stating it can't be special summoned and can only be fusion summoned (examples being most of the Omni-heroes). If you really wanted to bring BEUD out, just dump Prisma and King Of Swamp.
Ackalacka
his raw power is amazing so no he doesn't suck Yes he does, raw power is nothing when you're completely vulnerable to card effects... Also, there are monsters with equal or more raw power and a good effect that are MUCH easier to summon. Red Nova Dragon any one? If you have a good deck centered around him and run three copies, your opponent is pretty much fucked if they're not prepared to handle it...
