So the general idea behind Vendetta mafia is an uneasy coalition. It’s a staple of mafia that not everyone who works with you, and an uneasy truce might have to be formed to win. That uneasy bond is the crux of this game. Can you truly trust your allies? What is Mafia(Credits to Dive) Reveal hidden contents Mafia is a social deduction game which requires analyzing, cooperation, and looking through lies. There are two main factions in a mafia game: the Uninformed Majority [Know here as the Spotless], who have to find others of their kind while hunting for the mafia, the Informed Minority [Known here as the Blackened, who have a private chat and plan there on how they should trick the town and whom they should kill. At the beginning of the game, players receive a PM or a DM with their role and alignment. There are two major phases in a Mafia game: (1) The Day Phase – Typically lasting 48 hours , players use this opportunity to discuss about several things, which may include the outcome of the previous phases, behavior of players, and flow of the game; the ultimate goal in the day phase is for the Town players to find the Mafia slowly while Mafia players have to blend in carefully. Before the day ends, players must vote for a player whom they want to be eliminated on grounds of suspicion and the player receiving the most votes will be eliminated. (2) The Night Phase – Typically lasting 24 hours, the thread is considered “locked” at this point and players may not comment at all. Instead, players with night actions, special abilities related to their role, may use these to aid their faction. The Mafia also discusses in the private chat on whom to dispose of. The game continues until one of the major factions attains their win condition Opening Reveal hidden contents The town of Crookshead was a sleepy one. It was located just off a marsh, resting atop a little hill that was cramped with the amount of people living in it. By all accounts, the town was prospering and flourishing. This was partly due to the increasingly unhealthy competition between four store owners, and unrest was rising further by way of a recent string of crimes that had no apparent culprit. The townsfolk were getting nervous, things were getting out of hand. Factions Reveal hidden contents The Townsfolk: This is the uninformed majority. They need the Culprits and the Mutineer dead to win. The Culprits: This is the informed minority. They win when they equal the total number of players alive in the game. DigitalAmber Posted October 19, 2019 Author Share Posted October 19, 2019 Day 1 Start(48 hours till N1) The sleepy town of Crookshead was enjoying a sleepy peace in the sleepy hours of the morning. It was an ungodly hour, one that most sleepy people firmly believed didn’t exist. 4 am wasn’t a real hour unless you happened to be a ner-do-well. It was at this ungodly hour that the whole town was awoken. The bang seemed to jolt the townsfolk awake, and the very fact that the bang of a gunshot even happened filled the town with a sense of panic. And so, the town went to the resident detective, a fellow named Kiet, for guidance. Unfortunately, this helpful officer of the law was found dead... with a bullet hole piercing his skull. In light of such a tragedy, the town almost missed the discovery of a second tragedy. The town’s resident Doctor needed the help of the ever faithful nurse, Bazaro, to help with the funeral. Unfortunately, the nurse was found lying face down in a puddle of water in a bathtub that was barely an inch high. This must have been some accident, surely not a second murder? Needless to say, the townsfolk were sufficiently terrified. Kiet is dead, he was the Cop Bazaro is dead, he was the Nurse. Day 1 has started and lasts 48 hours. Whether it was the same gun that killed Kiet, or a different one is unknown. The shooter had successfully blended into the crowd by the time anyone knew what was going on.
