Woobowiz
This kind of doesn't really belong in the "Your team after Ep 9" thread, because I wanted to share my story as well. So they are all wearing Brightpowder (Because RNG got my back on everything) I haven't EV trained anyone, but I did have gimmicks on my team like Brightpowders on everyone and all of them have either Quirky or Hardy nature. I will replace King Trick and Main Gurl in the future and probably Dono as well (unless I can get a Rock type move on him ). My Adventure Zash has been my best buddy since the beginning of the game when she was just an itsy bitsy spider. I didn't think much of King Trick because he's not really Bear material, but he got the job done. I'm gonna be honest though, I have NO IDEA why I still have him on my team, he was literally just trained to be a buffer seat for Serra and her Icy Wind/Blizzard bullshit that might take out my actual important party members (he tanks like a BEAST). Anyways, as soon as I got Waifu, it was just obsessed with beating Julia with just those 3 pokemon ( this is my first playthrough, I didn't expect a lot ). As stubborn as I was, I trained in those alleyways on Trubbish, Purrloins and Poochyenas galore until I got my party of 3 to level 20. Julia stood no chance vs Waifu and Zash (King Trick was used to tank a few selfdestructs :I ) In hindsight, I should have gotten Torchic...OH WELL. Flobot was cake and it wasn't my doing really, as I said before RNG is my best friend and Zash would SOMEHOW poison Cradily on the first Poison Sting and then bring the show over to my recently attained Main Gurl after Zash died from Smackdown. Brick Break was available to her, but I stuck to Low Kick (because it would have 80 base power vs Cradily compared to BB's 75), everything else was cake, I wasn't even aware that Foongus had Faint Attack, but he didn't live long for my Waifu to feel it. By that time, my team was lookin good (except King Trick, I left him in the PC at level 20 after beating Julia). Corey came along and Waifu had a few words for his Pokemon....but they were too confused. Then I cried after what happened after I beat him.....Waifu had synchronize so she cried with me. On my way to Shelly, I slaved through Voltorb Flip a bit, once again RNG was TOTALLY on my side (with a little help from voltorbflip.com) and I got to (and stayed on) Level 8 for quite a reasonable number of rounds and My Niqquh was mine in about an hour of playing. After a bit of training, I reserved My Niqquh for last, because I knew Shelly had Heather in her party and when Heather came out, so did My Niqquh. After Heather fell, I brought out Zash and showed them what a REAL Bug-type was about (by this point, I used that one Heart Scale I found earlier to teach Zash Bug Bite). When Shade came along, I was too busy marveling at just how AMAZING his character design was for me to realize that Main Gurl and Waifu basically took out most of his party (Zash came in to revenge kill Corey with a Shadow Sneak and revenge kill Dusclops with a Sucker Punch). I didn't need King Trick for Cal (still in my box ) because My Niqquh got my back, and when everything went downhil for her, Waifu would pop out and +2/2 Calm Mind then proceed to tear the rest of Cal's party apart (Fire/Fighting starters....pffft). Kiki was NOT FUN I had no answer for her Gallade and Waifu would be wrecked by its Night Slash and high base Special Defense, so I got pissed off at around the 4th loss and stocked up on X Defenses and +6 X - defensed Waifu vs Kiki's Machamp opener, then +6 Calm Minded after for the most Yandere Waifu experience of my pokemon life. (She hit level 51 on Kiki's last pokemon, I was scared for my own life). I had no Ice Types or Ice Type moves by the time I fought the 75 Garchomp, so I just bent over for it... (makes me cringe because I really wanted to know what would happen if I won) Aya had me start imagining what her and Cain's mother would look like....as I ran a buffer Tank strategy vs her double battle, Zash was on tank duty and I used her turn to heal up Waifu until she +6ed on Calm Mind and My Niqquh took care of Drapion with a few digs after Waifu cleared the other 5 pushovers (as much as a dick Fern is, he was right about Aya). My friend Dono fell off a steel beam and landed on his head straight up Dragon Ball style, so I adopted him, I coulda named him Goku, but I can't see myself doing that. Now Serra...............I had to bring out the King.....I could not find any better a buffer tank than King Trick for that battle, he was a perfect buffer for Dono as he proceeded to Iron Head out 5 of Serra's pokemon, and Main Gurl would take out Walrein, all while King Trick still buffered that second spot, props man, you're just too G. That Steelix? Main Gurl came up to the plate first with a solid Brick Break (never learned Hi Jump Kick, only RNG move that I'll never trust, I'd rather trust OHKO moves over that bitch). My Niqquh came up after and served up 2 Digs before Steelix grew a brain and Earthquaked. Zash stepped up to the plate after and gave a pretty pitiful Bug Bite I wanted to give this EXP to Waifu....but somehow Waifu was the only pokemon (besides Main Gurl) that was slower than Steelix? I get that it's 75, but that's some BS. So the 7k Exp treasure went to....King Trick with a simple Brine from the red....wasted.... Noel was....interesting, I expected anything, except for his Flame Orb + Guts + Facade SWELLOW? I wtf'd when he OHKO'd Waifu after I just setup her +6 Calm Mind stack while his Porygon was out. Main Gurl was not helpful at all, and Dono has no Rock moves....but My Niqquh pulled through and Rock Slides were a plenty, Zash had some beef with that Girafarig and outsped it so it couldn't OHKO Zash with a psychic move. Plans I LOVE steel types, if Ame added a post game feature of becoming a Gym Leader (and eventually rising up the ranks to Elite 4), I would be a Steel type Gym Leader. I want to replace King Trick and Main Gurl with pokemon from the following list: Golem (Not steel, but nice movepool without TMs) Dugtrio (Again, not steel, but it's fast and learns Earthquake through levels) Metagross (Pfft, as if Ame would put this Pseudo-legendary in anytime soon) Bronzong (KING BUFFER, get that Ferrothorn bullshit out of here Fern!) Glaceon (It would help tremendously with future episodes where I might have to deal with a ton of Dragons and Flying types) Edited August 15, 2013 by Woobowiz

Soysauce
The problem is to actually EV train them, without the ev training items!
