Cute and cuddly and then it bites your head off and is a reference to many of its Pokedex entries

Poseiden - Cus he's a water type haha


Paranormal - He's a ghost and shiny. So he's something that doesn't belong.


Slug - Every playthrough I name a Psychic/Ghost/Dark type pokemon I really like Slug, after the rapper in my sig from Atmosphere


Cloud - No good reason really, maybe his arms remind me of Cloud's Sword (FF VII)


Rexy - No reason really at all. Full name is Sexy Rexy


Solara - Y'Know cus of the sun?


Jack - Samurai Jack is a boss thats why. Wish I could have the Samurai Jack theme song play everytime I send him into battle.

Socrates - No real reason

HereCmsThe - Boom, Julia would be proud. (Mostly for helping to train the new party members, I wish I could teach him Frustration haha.

Homie, the Scrafty- Well, Scrafty is a bit of a stereotype isnt it? Why not name it like so?;

Gaara, the Flygon- Named after Gaara, the naruto character that controls sand...Made more sense when it was a trapinch with sand tomb;

Mentalis, the Alakazam- Named after my very first Abra...Back then I though it was spelled Mentalis instead of Mentalist, and I just ran with it

Infernus, the Infernape- Well, i think its kinda obvious...A Roman Infernape? XD

Rage, the Gyarados- Named after this fella:

Magnus, the Magnezone- Again, Roman Magnet? XD No good reason really

Hero. I always call my starter Hero. He will bring light into my advanture.

Kurai. I was going to called it Kurai Homura but that's too long so I just called it Kurai. (Meaning Dark)

Tatakai. It's the only Flying pokemon you would get early in the game that learns a fighting move. So i called it Tatakai (Meaning Fight!)

Yuna. I just gave it sorta a girls name. Nothing special.

Magnetta. Just a small change of his normal name I liked.

Hadoudan. His signature move is called Hadoudan in Jap and it's awsome

Don Poe : Edgar Allan Poe as a mob boss

Pinkberry : Because of its pink wings in its shiny form, I named it after a popular dessert.

Hecate: Athenian goddess of prosperity and protection.

Sleeper: Original Trainer's name. Someone else will get my personal signature name, Oneiros.

Belzeebub: The Lord of the Flies would be surrounded by his subjects.

Triton: The son of Poseidon. Like his father, Triton wields a trident.

Kucheat: Japanese name for Mawile. I couldn't fit the origin's full name.

Shengaoren: I chose the wrong name. Will get renamed to Lao-Shan later on.

Sakuya: Funny, then, that this particular Cherubi is male.

Typhlosion- I named him Dart because Dragoon was the first PS game I owned as a kid and I always name Cyndaquill after the game's main protagonist.

Shinryu- Gyarados, he is named after the hidden boss in Final Fantasy V. Shinryu is the dragon god of destruction and a fitting name for a Gyarados.

Kragma- Magmar named after my favorite boss from the legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks

Terra- I named Gardevoir after Terra from Final Fantasy VI, even though Gardevoirs have nothing to do with Earth

Manny- Mamoswine, he a mammoth and I remember Ice Age from my childhood and that's what Sid always called him.

Auxiliary- Exploud, Auxiliary is a cool name and it fits Exploud well.

I kinda stopped caring about my pokes gender but Magmar was female and I don't play Brand in LoL so that's why I didn't name her brand. Malphite is dumb that's why I named Gigalith Janna... was also female anyways. LoL is the game i play most so yea.. Samurott has a horn so i went with Soraka (>_> didn't think of Nami) Gallade has dem arm blades even if Nocturne suits a dark type.. Miss Fortune uses flaming bullets... Stoutland is a dog, Vanilluxe is obv why, and jumpluff is grass like Zyra.

Cause i major in Chemistry that's why. Carbon is where it all starts. Hydrogen fuels fires, nitrogen for no reason, oxygen is in the air, phosphorus sounds cool and is reactive, titanium is hard.

Meet Cortés. I choose Venusaur to be Cortés because it fitted the jungle theme, since Cortés took central America.

This is Alexander. Because he's the oldest of my team's conquerors and is somewhat a warrior too.

Attila. Because they were both running at high speed on plains in a beautiful and devastating way.

Cao Cao incoming ! He may not be well known, but for me Cao Cao is the smartest and the man whith the wisest mind. Fitting for a pokemon with more than 5000 of IQ.

Nobunaga. Historic nickname ? The demon King. So yeah, he's kind of a badass, and so is Mismagius. Plus he's a ghost, so demon-ghost, it's like Mismagius was born to be Nobunaga.

Napoleon. Because he's the smallest pokemon on my team <3

Caesar. A majestic name for a majestic pokemon.

Sun Ce. Aka the Little Conqueror, the middle twenties man who took over a huge part of China in the blink of an eye. Was also known for being an excellent warrior.

Bill Gates. No comments needed, right ? And He's shiny!
