changing sprite

I want to change shiny metagross color to how it normally is gold and silver.Can i do that? When im changing the battlers to others from internet the image in game is too small. Can someone help ? Compare the normal ones to the ones i found on the internet in the photos down

You have to resize them by 200% using image editing software.

Although seeing as it's a pixel sprite, always resize on the nearest neighbour setting to preserve quality

do you have any editing software in mind ?

Just any software that supports transparency. So not MS Paint, smh, Microsoft.
 

I think you can use something like Paint.NET.

i resized it but the quality is kinda bad so can you explain what you mean with that

Paint.NET is a very good choice. You might also try and do your own recolors if you feel up to it. I did so for a few Pokémon sprites already. Paint.NET is a good choice for that as well. Here are my custom Flareon Sprites for example:

Feel free to use them if you like them.

I'm using Paint.net because it's what I'm familiar with:

 

To resize the image from a 1x1 ratio while maintaining quality, first go here:

 

Next, click "resize and this window should pop up:

 

Change the resampling type to "Nearest Neighbor" then select the "By percentage" bullet and change the value to 200. Click "ok" and you should be done

Since you liked my Flareon i took the liberty of doing some recolors to the Beldum evolution line for you. I gave i a little touch of my own, so the colors won't match 100%, but kept it as close to the original as i could.

Have fun with those XD

I was trying to make the mega ones change in paint.net and i couldnt do it i searched in tutorials and still couldnt fix them.Probably im bad but you are a lifesaver.I would like to see more custom recolors that you made for your favourite pokemons and i may use them

For the most part i like the custom shiny sprites of Reborn and Rejuvenation. However, for some of them i decided to overwrite them wih sprites from the other game. I like the shiny Beldum evolution line of Reborn for example, so i copied them into Rejuvenation. On the other hand i like the Rejuvenation shiny forms of Alolan Grimer/Muk, so i copied those over to Reborn.

 

But there are also some shiny sprites that i just HAD to give my own touch, like i did with Flareon.

Sometimes i also see people sharing some nice sprites here on the forum.

 

There was this one shiny Volcarona sprite for example, that i really liked. So i took it and created a matching shiny Larvesta sprite as well. Now i am using both of them in my game.

Back when i made these 3 years ago, Reborn didn't have shiny icons by default. That's why i never made any. You might want to ask on the sprite edits channel on the reborn discord server. Someone there might have the matching icons, as these are the default official Pokémon game shiny colors.
