Silone
Im hosting and and introducing a new tour! CTB! a.k.a Capture the Badge Capture the Gym Badge Hosted by Silone 40 talented players will be split into 8 gyms lead by fearless leaders as they compete in an intense game of Capture the Gym Badge. Defend your territory while overtaking opponents all in this fast-paced knock off of your favorite childhood game, capture the flag. Don't fail your fellow gym members and give up the right to run a gym! Picking Phase There will be 40 sign-ups in total, 8 teams each. Please submit teams of 5 with a leader, 4 players, and the type (from the list of 8) you'd like to use. Types will be approved on a first come first serve basis. Every member of the team must use at least 3 pokemon of that type on their team (at most, 3 can be any type). Gym leaders must make 3 teams for best of 3 matches. All teams must be sent in before the challenge phase starts and cannot be changed after it starts. List of types to choose from: Grass Bug Normal Electric Poison Ghost Dark Ice Challenge Phase Each team, or gym, will then be defending their badge, while at the same time attempting to take other gyms badges. Trainers of a gym may challenge another gym; in doing so they must beat each trainer of that gym in a Bo1 set, then the leader in Bo3. When a gym's leader loses they must give up all the badges to the gym that beat them, and they are out of the tournament. Gym leaders may not challenge other gyms, and each trainer may only challenge a gym once a week. You must use the same team for both defending and challenging. In order for a gym to fall, one player must defeat all of the gym's trainers and leaders (does not have to be consecutively). Challenging In order to challenge, a player must announce "CHALLENGING THE GRASS-GYM" in the thread and then attempt to play all of the trainers, then lastly the leader until the challenger is defeated. If no activity (4 days of no contact) is shown by the not-yet-defeated defending gym members, an activity win will be awarded. In order to make it easier to do challenges, players are encouraged to go to the channel #CTF Tour. Battle Rules Battles should be played under the Wifi OU ruleset. Drizzle, Drought, Snow Warning, Sand Stream are banned. Please join as a team! Deadline is Aug. 22! ^_^P.S players may vary Edited August 17, 2013 by Silone
