Silversixx
So I just started Reborn yesterday and I am absolutely in love with the game. It is 1000000x better than anything GameFreak has put out imo. But I have a question about Shiny Pokémon. In the mainline game series, i have put tons of hours into every game and I’ve only caught a handful of shiny Pokémon myself, most of the ones I have were traded to me. In reborn though I only have 2 gym badges and I’ve already caught a shiny Buneary and a shiny Sewaddle, and I wasn’t even shiny hunting or anything, just playing the game normally. Did I just get super lucky in Reborn, or are the shiny rates different from the mainline series games? Thanks! Slith265
I don't remember correctly but its like 1/100 or something like that. Edit: Using the info the user @DreamblitzX provided on september 2018 it says It's about 700/65,535 to be exact.
Souizen
It's substantially higher than the mainline games. Apparently 700/65,535 or 1% are the odds without the shiny charm. Also, I encourage you to use the search function since you could have browsed an archived thread to find your answer
Lucifer Morningstar
Reborn has a greatly higher shiny rate than the canon/mainstream games. There is an NPC, I believe in the Grand Hall, who explains this and that they and their different colorings are a mutation caused by the pollution that plagues the region.
