The Radiant Aeon
With summer vacation coming to a close next week, I wanted know what people did that was the most fun, memorable, or that they enjoyed.. For me, it was when my uncle took me out deep sea fishing at Galveston. While it wasn't exactly fun, it was seriously memorable (If not for me being seasick by bacon and raw fish, causing anti-clauses so I wouldn't eat them for a long time.) And yes, I did get some fish (2 red snappers and a yellowfin tuna, so it wasn't so impressive) And no, I'm not a country hick if you're assuming that (why would you anyways?) Maelstrom
I would start assuming you were a country hick if you said you went fishing with a shotgun. Best time for me this summer was definitely my trip to California, even with all that driving back and forth.
The Radiant Aeon
..Pretty sure the company that owned the boat would kick us off if we brought a gun (especially with some dying the week before, though I don't know the details.) And that trip to California seems pretty normal to me even with all the driving (looking at a Californian, but Texas is nice, though I don't have as much opportunities to do stuff I liked before such as swimming, which I can't do, for the life of me.) Nico Nico Nii~
Going to Phoenix Comic-Con, it was my first time and I went with my cousins all weekend (and spent around 150-170 on anime/mudkips) and had SO much fun. Also playing Reborn for the first time was pretty fun too, but this comes in second compared to ^
Wish
I think watching the meteor shower was the most fun for me. I been near a city my entire life and since I moved to a rural location a year ago to go to college, A friend and I went really far away to this forest away from the main town (we called our drive, "running away from the lights") and it was so dark I couldn't even see in front of me (there was a new moon so it was extra dark!). I was tripping all over the place until we finally found a spot to settle. We saw lots of animals (many deer and baby ones :3) and the sky was just breath taking. I never seen a "shooting star" until that day and I just never comprehended how many stars you could actually see see. Out where I use to live you would be lucky if you could point out 5 stars on the clearest night, so it was something I never payed much attention too. It was a lot of fun but half the time I was paranoid a bear, a wolf, or a hobo with a stick would pop out of the woods and attack us. Also I am a bit afraid of the dark so yeah haha. But everything went well! It is really pathetic how amazing it was to me but being so close to a city and never going camping I guess it is understandable. gravehonor
Hm. I guess when I was convinced (after a lot of pestering me about it) to go to a fair with three others. I figured I wouldn't go to another in a long time so, freaking FAIR FOOD. I don't remember feeling sick later that night... maybe I erased it from my memory due to it being that bad? Ah.. anyway, we did go on a couple things. On those... spin things... (they used to be apples, but you sit inside and there's a disc inside you can use to spin it), one person spun it around so fast I was legitimately scared for my life. I don't think it's supposed to go so fast and I thought it would fall right off.The other thing (again, after a lot of pestering) was hanging out with some others at their house. It was gonna be swimming, but then complications and it ended us being outside in swimsuits with a sprinkler and a couple... kiddie pools and stuff. Their company was silly as always. It was kinda bittersweet though since it was essentially a going-away party for one of them since they're leaving for college during the week.So yeah. smartlili
I've been mostly moving and unpacking this summer in the heat, 115 degrees sucks =(. But probably the most fun has been Mill Ave. in Tempe this summer! School started this week so that means a lot less Mill Avenue nights for me. And I can understand the stars bit. I live near houston and the stars are very hard to spot. Hm. I guess when I was convinced (after a lot of pestering me about it) to go to a fair with three others. Not a person for fairs honestly, but they can be fun. I've been mostly moving and unpacking this summer in the heat, 115 degrees sucks =(. I actually have relatives around Arizona, and they told me about this. As much as I'd like to experience this, I can't stand hot temperatures (95 degrees makes me itch all the time)
Magus
The most fun I've had was when my cousin gave me a box of PS2 games when he moved and all the games from my early teen years are there including more. This summer has been all about playing my childhood games and sleep, lots of sleep.
Shanco
I'm going to cheat and say my summer "started" in May (seeing as college ended at the end of April). I got around. That's putting it lightly. I've been to a bunch of places, did a bunch of things. Spent a few days at Ottawa Bluesfest which was an amazing concert with Wu-tang Clan, Weezer, Rush and whatnot. I got to go south of the border (and by that I mean the States, yes I am Canadian) and visit a fair few places. Probably the coolest place I visited was Colorado with all the mountains and beautiful scenery around the Denver area. Got to enjoy certain people's company, i feel like i didn't get to talk to/hang out with them more (probably my only regret this summer). Got to scale Pikes Peak and see the world from atop a mountain that wasn't in Banff. And, as I systematically do everywhere I go on vacation, I blew tons of money. More than I could count. Damn 16th Street Mall... Last but not least, I'd get slapped if I went on about my summer without mentioning the lady friend Amelia. As much as my summer's been great and all, it's been full of countless stresses that made me want to saw my skull open and throw my brain over the closest waterfall. Gotta hand it to her, she's been a great person to vent to, talk to, whine and complain to, all that, over recent months and I won't trade friendships like that for the world. Shushup
Well since I didn't go on vacation this Summer, the best thing that happened to me in the Summer was finding Pokemon Reborn
AveMatic
My trip to Vegas was great. Got to see family and friends, but the thing I can look back and remember most about it was that I organized it and paid for everything I needed by myself, kinda like the first sign of true independence for me... ThBe
The most fun I had this summer was at a party, sorta. I might have gotten a little wasted, but it was pretty fun, to say the least!

Bought Wario Land 1 & 3 thus completing my Wario Land collection.~ One of my other friends bought a gold cartridge Majora's Mask. & the other got the best game ever: Battletoads for only $20, we all played so much of it when we got back home.XD Too good.~

Rycast
I mainly did work, community service, or tutor this summer, but I did have fun times as well. The one I can remember from the top of my head was the wedding of two of my dear friends. They only just graduated from college, but they've been dating since high school. Seeing them happy together like that really makes me happy and also gives me hope that someday I could be in a relationship like theirs.
