jbastian1
Hello everyone! So I recently decided that I want to embark on doing a Mono-Flying run of Pokemon Reborn! Flying is my favorite type and I think it will be pretty challenging consistently through the game considering Gym 1 is Electric, the last Gym (so far) is Rock and theres an Ice Gym about halfway through as well. Definitely think this will be a fun time. HOWEVER, I have a current save file that I absolutely DO NOT want to lose. I am not the best with computers so with all that said, does anyone have any advice for how I can safely have multiple save files without running the risk of losing either of them? Thanks! Global Mods Dreamy Posted February 29, 2020 Global Mods Share Posted February 29, 2020 If you find the folder where your saves are stored (should be C:\Users\[YOU]\Saved Games\Pokemon Reborn on Windows) you can copy your saves from here to somewhere else to have a secure backup E18.2 should be able to support multiple saves just fine though, I'm pretty sure when you start a new game, the old ones will just remain there in the folder and then you can swap between them from the main menu of the game.
Johnny_Nevori
Create a folder either in your "My Documents" or on your desktop and call it Reborn backup or something like that. Then go to your reborn folder and right click on the LastSave.dat file and copy. Then go into the backup folder that you created and right click and paste. Then rename it LastSave1.dat. Then start a new game.

Yeah, Dream is correct. Multi saves work as I have 2 on mine.
kithas
Before being officially multiple saving in Reborn I went to the folder the sabes were stored in and renamed the one called "Game.rxdata" (aka the current save) with another name, and then when I wanted to go on playing it, I renamed it to Game.rxdata again (and changed the previous save). The game reads the file called Game.rxdata as the actual game, so try and play with that. Bonus: Now you can have multiple saves at once, naming them "Game_1.rxdata" and so in.
