Coldest
Ok so I just downloaded reborn on my desktop and I was considering making an all fire team consisting of... Blaziken, speed boost, lonely Houndoom, flash fire, naive Ninetales, drought, modest Camerupt, mild, magma armor(Ik there are better abilities for battle, buuuut I'm tryna hatch dem eggs lol) Magmar(hopefully magmortar, I'll check for the magmorizer) flame body, mild Arcanine, intimidate, hasty Any ideas, or move sets you guys think will help? Considering switching out blaziken for charizard with solar power. Flamethrower would sweep most teams after that... But then I'd lose my only real defense against rock types. notnotjohn
Well if you switched out Blaziken for Charizard you still have Camerupt to counter the rock types as ground resists them.
Coldest
But he's a little too slow. And I've noticed that a ton of trainers have ground/rock type Pokemon in the game.
ShatteredSkys
Just saying the magmorizer is not yet in game so you can't get magmortar yet.
Soysauce
Do you use bred moves such as Wild Charge/Solarbeam/Energy Ball? Because dealing with Pokemon such as Quagsire can be pretty painful. x_x
Coldest
I was hoping Ame may have made the same oversight with the electralizer.. I'm pretty sure I could breed a good grass move into one of them. Or I could just take the easy route and get infer ape instead of blaziken and teach it grass knot
Stiffins
No Infernape? Dat thunderpunch tho. Who needs speed boost when you're a blazing ape? But yeah, i'd go with Infernape over Blaziken mostly cuz blaziken does not check his weaknesses and infernape checks 2 of them with 1 move. You could take charizard if you wanted some flying STAB but 4x rock weakness is pretty eh. It doesn't seem like too bad an option considering you can catch a Tepig later on who has some meaty attack and stab with 20% dmg boost on recoil attacks which 2 of his most powerful attacks are. But yeah i guess infernape is the easy route. Charmeleons dragon rage makes a lot of battles early on pretty easy too. Coldest
I figured if I ev train charizard will solar power, and always lead with ninetales with drought, I'd be able to accomplish some serious sweeping in this game. I was also planning on sweeping double battles with a lava plume-flash fire combo. But I agree, infernape with iron fist is formidable. I did take into consideration that I'd be able to find a tepig a little bit later. I was thinking of replacing magmar with him since magmars stats are a bit meh.
