Cadmium48
I couldn't find a version of this guide for Rejuv that was up-to-date and still worked, so I made my own! Formatting mostly credit to @BIGJRA for making the Reborn version of this guide, as well as making the Rejuvenation 100% guide which was massively helpful. The guide is split up by chapter, with each Pokemon by type. Italics means the Pokemon evolves into that type or you must change the Pokemon’s Form for it to become that typeUnderline means the Pokemon loses that typeBold indicates LegendariesStrikethrough means you must breed the Pokemon for it to become that type *Asterisks* means that the Pokemon has a Mega Evolution of the type, whether or not these are legal are up to you Starters: Spoiler Dark: Cadmium48
Thank you, forums, for breaking all my spoilers. All traces of Advanced Errors should be gone now, aside from the weird margins thing that I'll (hopefully) be able to figure out. EDIT: after fifteen minutes manually having to redo all the formatting for half the chapters, it's all fixed now!
fellowry
Thanks for doing this, This was a very good guide wish i had waited this guide before i started my monorun. Some Question though: isn't Pokemon that gain another typing with mega evolution is considered fair game in monorun? Example if you want to run a Dragon mono having Charizard or Sceptile is fine right? Spoiler Spoiler fair warning for those chad out there, DO NOT start a Steel mono. The ptsd of soloing all of venam's team with only Prinplup in Intense still haunts me

It's really up to you whether they're legal or not, but keep in mind that Megas are currently unavailable.
Just A Cool Fella
Did someone actually succeed in beating the game while doing the monotype run challenge (in hard mode of course). I'm genuinely curious, as that seems like a near-impossible task to achieve

I'm genuinely curious, as that seems like a near-impossible task to achieve Its really fun mainly its because it restrict your option so you are forced to strategize and use pokemon that you generally avoid but yes i admit that they are several battle wherei almost threw my laptop cuz of frustration, the hardest part of monotype run is actually the first few gyms, if you run a type that is rare in early game like fairy, steel or dragon you are forced to battle their whole team with only 1 or 2 pkmn and let me tell you it is very frustrating

FriarTruck
I think you should put in a shadow typing too, if anyone wants to try that out. Does each chapter correlate to the same badge i.e. chapter 4 = up to badge 4?
heart
idk if this counts, but gardevoir is available before you reach valour summit (idr which chapter) as the items needed, cell batteries and metal powder can be found on wild pokemon. charjabug and ditto. Does each chapter correlate to the same badge i.e. chapter 4 = up to badge 4? A shadow typing is impossible, you cannot fight Gyms with Shadow Pokémon. And, yes, each chapter largely correlates to a single badge, but there is some leeway, such as Chapter 14 finishing with Spoiler the battle against Isha. FriarTruck
I meant restored shadow pokemon, but now I realize a monotype guide isn't really the place for it. I'm really glad you made this up, it is super handy to have on hand. Thanks!

Combined with Cell Batteries from wild charjabug makes it possible to get ralts as soon as you beat kyogre in valor mountain. That's when I got mine in V12. You also need the HM in order to use it, so you can actually fly back to Gearen as soon as Damien brings you back to Route 9, before going to the stadium. Don't Contact Me, I Left
Small error updates: Spoiler Post Souta, not Post Adam: Flabebe, Starly, Sneasel, Joltik, Charmander, Cottonee, Beldum, Scyther, Feebas and Gastly. Idk when but I think getting Snorlax might be post Erick and not post Souta.
