We might need reinforcements," Mirri nods minutely to Law, igniting her lightsaber again for the light and possibly the self-defense as she advances cautiously down the tunnel. It feels strange to just be able to pull her blade out with no consequences, but in another universe there's no Empire to try to track her down. StormLord Posted May 8, 2020 Author Share Posted May 8, 2020 ~~~~~~ Dark Alley ~~~~~~ As the dog and creature get closer and closer Mirri, Leo, and Law hear some splashing before around the dimly lit corner, the see it. The creature, slightly larger than a cat with a metallic cylindrical head, the water behind it runs red and it's fur is matted down and glistening. Something long, tattered, and filthy drags along behind it, caught around its neck. The dog gives chase, howling and trying to snap at the thing trailing behind the creature. ~~~~~~ 2nd District ~~~~~~ Takumi takes the stairs down to ground level. The only sounds he an hear are the click of his shoes on the stone, some distant barking, and his own breathing. Approaching the fountain he see that it is indeed still. The centerpiece seems to be a decorative floral mosaic surrounded by stone carvings in the shape of a greko-roman building. Three small glowing bell-shaped fixtures rest on the edges of the stagnant pond where a thick algae slime has grown up in it. With that final piece of report on her time in the decayed prison, Satomi ran forward to join the others -- although she did slow down a bit briefly to, in fact, drink the potion that Leo had handed her (if a little hesitantly). Although she had been preparing to shoot a rope up towards the tunnel with her grappling hook, the intervention of Law made that unnecessary -- so she just jumped up to the tunnel, kimono flapping as she proceeded to haul ass as fast as she could down the tunnel. With the time saved by the pad, she used her grappling hook instead to try to pull ahead, firing it into the ceiling of the tunnel and using its forward pull to give each of her strides some jump. StormLord Posted May 8, 2020 Author Share Posted May 8, 2020 As Mirri steps forward the creature doesn't seem to flinch away so much as generally move away from her footsteps. She notices that its "head" has strange markings on it and it seems to be spewing the "blood" from around its neck. Satomi flies forward, landing on the pavement mostly standing and opposite Mirri. The creature stops as she clatters to the ground, it jumps back rolling with surprise and revealing red soaked paws. The dog for its part is torn simultaneously between fear of Mirri's glowing stick and a need to chase the small creature, it comes to the indecision to stand there eagerly glancing between the creature and Mirri. And then Leo comes up and a glow envelops the creature, it floats upward slowly, kicking a bit as it struggles and more glistening red oozes from around its neck. The user gains +1 Res vs Analyzed enemies for every empty action slot they have. Set Bonus: When worn with two other pieces of Terrarian Gold armor(chest and other) requires no action slot and the user gains two action slots that may only be used for actives. Spoiler Analyze: Leo cast a spell which allows him to gather data about a machine, technological or golemic system, enchantment, or other object in his immediate vicinity. Gaining relevant information . This also allows him to spot any anomalies or abnormalities in said targets. This ability does not require a success roll to succeed, but it does require a quality roll to determine the value of information gained. This ability constitutes both as a magical check, and an intelligence check. Limit five uses per encounter. Level 2: Analyze can now give leo partial or complete blueprints (and other knowlage items) of things scanned, with a higher chance for complete blue prints on smaller, less complex parts, or when a specific part of a greater machine is focused on. Just Split and unwrap the can into a long strip to remove it Once he gets the can off, Leo keeps it held up for a bit longer to examine it and make sure its actually alright. StormLord Posted May 8, 2020 Author Share Posted May 8, 2020 As Leo peels back the can another gush of red paint comes out, the piece of twisted cloth falls away, and he sees not the face of a cat as he was expecting, but a fox. Seeing this the dog sits, and the lays down with a decided huff. He also notices that the fox is wearing a collar with tag caked in red paint, smearing it off he can read the name "Tod" on it. When he finds none he looks around and nods to himself"Lets head back to the shop, If this issent our target, then we can come back and look more." StormLord Posted May 8, 2020 Author Share Posted May 8, 2020 Takumi finds the water is still pretty murky, a sickly green color, but he can make out the bottom now along with the several nozzles and intake drain. Looking at it, there isn't anything blocking the drain, but for some reason water isn't being pumped in to cycle it out before it can go nasty. Perhaps there is a pump house nearby? Tod rubs against Leo, trying to smear off the paint on his head and face. The dog has a tag that matches Tod's and says "Copper" on it. The address information on the tags has been scratched out. He let out a sigh at the sorry state of his surroundings, and raises an eyebrow at the man puking his guts out in a nearby can, briefly wondering if he had found himself at some medieval slum tonight. He pondered his options for a moment, glancing at the straightforward, if unimaginatively named stores nearby, before he settled on performing a bit of social outreach for now, pulling out a handkerchief with his right hand to offer it to the vomiting man, "Rough night?." There is a small simple desk with an empty chair and no one around to attend to it. The desk has a several magazines, a small stack of papers, and a bell. The hallway to the right continues on with old fashioned electric lights and four brightly colored doors on the left side. About two thirds of the way down the hall there is a very narrow and steep staircase leading up to a second floor. ~~~~~~ Dark Alley ~~~~~~ Tod squirms a bit in Leo's arms, trying to brush off more of the paint, but otherwise doesn't try to escape. There were people like the Kaka tribe that had adapted to the seithr that carpeted the world - maybe the animals were better off than humans, too? Not that there was much reason or opportunity to find out. Kusuke crouched down to get a better look at the critter, before glancing back at Mirri. "Hey, you're got some kind of mind reading, right?
