Love Kills - a Challenge Run made by Adrian

Hi. So this is a thing I guess. Decided to make a run based off of the Trope “Love Hurts”. It’s sorta like a wedlocke variant.

RULES:

1. All Pokemon must be named and to go with the nicknaming, there must be a general nicknaming theme.

2. You are allowed to SR in battles. However, there is a limit of how many times you can soft reset for a battle. 5 per battle. Anything more and you cannot reset and must attempt the battle from there on out.

3. No dupes of any Pokemon.

4. Only 1 event Pokemon per area. 

5. Every trainer must be fought.

6. All Pokemon must be “in love” with another Pokemon. The gender of both do not matter.

7. If a Pokemon dies, there are consequences. *Note that each adds up. For example: if a Pokemon that died twice cannot use any held items or machine while its partner, if it only died once, cannot use any medicine.*

   1. First death, the Pokemon cannot use any medicine.

   2. Second death, the Pokemon and its partner cannot use any held items.

   3. Third death, you cannot use the Pokemon or its partner in any important battles. (Gym Leaders and Elite Fours 100% count but others can be up to your decision or not to be included depending on the situation.)

   4. Fourth death, you must box the Pokemon. 

      1. Its partner does not need to but if its partner dies as well even once after its previous partner has been boxed, they must be boxed or released as well.

   5. If it’s former partner dies at least once after its partner has been boxed and it does not have four deaths, that Pokemon cannot be EV trained. 

      1. Example: if a Mudkip has died four times and been boxed and its partner was a Taillow, if the Taillow died (again) it cannot be EV trained.
