wildkratt123
During my rerun of reborn i somehow got a budew (don't know how so don't ask) and i know roserade is a good 'mon but how viable is it reborn? I may keep the 'mon if deemed viable Edited May 11, 2020 by wildkratt123 needed to add more information
Node15
I've personally used Roserade in a Reborn play through and honestly I found it to be okay although that might've been because I ran it as a Toxic Spikes Setter, but otherwise it has a pretty shallow movepool consisting of only grass moves, a few physical poison moves, and only gets a few decent moves by TM's which are only available really late in the game and most of it's best moves are only obtainable before evolving into a Roserade but Grassy Terrain, Toxic Spikes, and/or Leech Seed are enough of a reason to use it in my opinion as a Support Mon. But really I found it useful early in the game and offensively this thing can be considered awful until you get Dazzling Gleam, Venoshock, and if you get lucky maybe Hidden Power for coverage. So it's depends on your style and how your willing to run Roserade. Edited May 11, 2020 by Node15
wildkratt123
Ok thank you for the information because of this I have considered not using roserade
Node15
If your looking for a grass type I'd recommend Tangrowth or Ludicolo as potential grass types since both later on can be monuemental in key battles and are obtained early on.
Gentleman Jaggi
Been doing a Grass Monotype and Roselia is an absolute champ so far. Hits hard with 100 base SpAtk, gets Giga Drain fairly early and Nature Power patches up the eh coverage in a lot of places. Roserade also gets Technician as Hidden Ability which can make some of the weak coverage moves a lot more useful and turns Magical Leaf into a 90 BP move that always hits. Bennylava
Roserade is pretty strong in Reborn. Full SpA and Spe EV's it's quite fast, has access to Sleep Powder, Nature Power and if you breed a good Hidden Power onto it you have good coverage too. The only thing really missing is Sludge Bomb which isn't available, kind of a shame but oh well. Roserade is a good Mon.
