Hiya, this will be fixed in the next patch, but for the time being, chuck this map into the Data Folder in your Game Folder

Okay, moving my game to the Applications folder has gotten it to start now, but as someone else encountered, when I press Enter at the title screen I'm getting a long error as seen below, followed by a black screen with no music once I click 'OK'. Here's also the actual text from the errorlog.txt file (in spoilers because it's really long):

 

EDIT: It seems to be related to the saves, since removing them all from the game folder lets it launch without issue, and I can start and save a new game just fine as well, but having a save from Ep5 in the folder, even saved in the right place, just causes these errors.

Hi, these are both converter issues, I have made a post regarding some converter stuff, it may be possible that your saves are beyond saving, however if you both want to send me your saves, I can see if I can convert them for you.

Sure, AFAIK this one should be from before I opened Episode 6 (I still have the latest version of Episode 5 on my computer, I tend to download fresh copies with each major update). If it's corrupted I can get an earlier copy later in the day that should work.

Yup. Here my save. That's one is before i opened Desolation Episode 6.

I'm consistently having this error every once in a while, the game will crash for seemingly no reason, and its always happens and different points and time, when I'm walking around or just finished a battle. I've been trying to save often to counteract it but wanted to bring attention to it since i don't think I've seen it reported although its possible i missed itimage.thumb.png.994c08d5f61db3b934e1c1fe53d1f0d6.png

This sounds like a hardware issue, most likely with an outdated macOS. Is your system fully updated?

Going into the daycare center in blackview city gives this error:

Hariyama (black belt)

Thievel (black glasses)

 

The mons in the daycare: lvl 50 (level cap) Talonflame

When you say "going into the daycare", is this you trying to take out a Pokemon in there currently? When exactly does this occur

After taking the mons out. Im assuming it triggers an event that for some reason freezes and crashes the game. Maybe the levels gained from daycare had something to do with this (an interaction with a levelcapped mon)?

Yeah, this has to do with the Daycare and Pokemon Levelling up it seems, apologies for the current inconvenience it'll be fixed soon!

So I talked to Aderyn and went to Weeping Hill, came back to level grind, and ended up joining the Ranger Guild then, and starting the first quest in that area. Apparently, doing that brought back the NPC that blocks off Weeping Hill, and talking to Aderyn again doesn't make her move again. So I'm stuck!

So I reverted the save to the point before I joined the Ranger's Guild, and the NPC was still there? So it's not the Ranger's Guild that does this, maybe it's leaving Celeste at all? I'm at a loss, I'm sorry!

The NPC blocking the path is blocking access to Celeste Labyrinth, which is opened once you defeat Aderyn's gym. There are no Ranger's Quests that mess with your access to Weeping Hill, which is located on Route 2.
