Woollypoly
Hey everyone, I tried to search the forum for the answer but wasn't able to find it... possibly I just don't know who to ask or am stupid. I'm sorry  Tiny spoilers possible... not really though I'm only at the second gym  My question is this:  Is this whole game kind of enter city concrete jungleish? Albeit with some plant overgrowth due to the crisis? I've just gotten past the second gym. First, this this the most difficult pokemon experience I've ever had. It's addicting and I love it. I've never had to have a team of over 6 Pokemon... this game has forced me to have a team that basically fills a whole box that i switch around based on where I'm at. I love it  in Pokemon games i really like exploring in nature, using surf, looking in forests, etc. The settings in these game really provoke an emotional response of peace and I think that's always been one of the draws. Pokemon reborn's setting is making me kinda sad... like these poor people lol. So I'm really hoping I have that to look forward to at some point!! Even if it's just a small dose of nature.  I'm absolutely loving the game so far and the answer won't actually sway me away from the game even if it's not the one I want . The setting is clearly an art and style choice. It's incredibly well done so if the wards are the whole setting of the game that's not an issue for me despite my preferences. I was just wondering. Rendolf
Don't worry, there's plenty of nature-based stuff to explore once you get outside Reborn City! If you want you can look at the map inside your Pokegear and see what's in the city and what isn't, but if you'd rather not to avoid spoiling it for yourself that's understandable. In regards to the difficulty, you're completely right. This game is extremely challenging. However, allow me to say this: you ain't seen nothing yet. There are a ton of super tough fights that are nothing like what you've seen up to just the first 2 gyms that require strategizing, team swapping, and/or numerous attempts to win. Anyway good luck and have fun, I'm sure you'll have a great time!
Global Mods Dreamy Posted July 15, 2020 Global Mods Share Posted July 15, 2020 At a rough estimate, I'd say that you spend maybe the first quarter to third of the game in the city, but overall, the region has at least as much environmental variety as a classic one, so there's plenty to look forward to! For now though it sounds like the city is doing a pretty good job of immersing you and creating the appropriate feelings, doesn't it? Woollypoly
Thanks for replies :). Literally after I posted this I found my first forestesque region. This is honestly the best pokemon game I've ever played so far and knowing what I know now gives me more to look forward to so thank you. kithas
I think the "I feel kinda sad for these people who live in a concrete world" thing is basically the idea lol
